He is currently going for application in the City Guard again and fight along side his brother Bhima. He was brought up to Unionist Priests, but given birth to by Hak'Chan, as far as he knows he has one brother and that is Bhima, a warrior monk dedicated to purging and vengeance against Void Worshipers who had killed their parent. Outside of trying to get better, he wants to be a first class Citizen, his ability to follow orders and unwavering loyalty to the Ailor cause will be instrumental in that regard. Height: 6’0 Body Build: random Visual Information (Continued) Spoiler Chengis' face is just as it should be, slanted eyes of a Ch'ien-Ji that are tucked under heavy brows like that of an Orc, his ears are small and tucked almost tight to his head, his nose flatter against this skull but still protrudes from his face. His mouth is a slight frown when in resting and listening with a large forehead covered by dreadlocks of green moss that run out of his head and cover most of his features (though he tries to keep it out of the way most of the time.) His thick neck is wrapped in a golden torque that would look too small if it didn't fit him so well. Chengis is a big plant man, built like a wall of muscle he is 6'2 (187cm) and 220pounds (100kg) He's got very broad shoulders with a thick chest, all muscle showing due to the fact he sculpted his body to look like a muscular build with very low body fat. He has long arms, that are very well sculpted, his muscles seemingly almost always in flex mode. As well as thick sculpted abdominal muscles and thicker more powerful legs also with very visable muscle beneath the layer of tree bark he's covered himself in. He has mossy hair covering most of his body going along his arms and legs and upper chest, but not covering his abdomen. Chengis walks around with a very nice red shirt with leather spaulders covering up most of his decorations, on his legs he wears nice brown trousers. However, when shirtless he has two golden torques on each of his biceps that curl around his middle arm. as well as two leather cords with his name written into them in case he should ever fall in battle. He also wears a thick golden torque around his neck, with two dragon heads that meet near the middle. Chengis' voice is of a deeper tone and powerful. He has an light air of command that comes up while in the din of battle his voice can be easily heard above the clash of swords and shields when shouting. He speaks at a normal speed and keeps his sentences smart and short. So he can be understood and followed if others want to follow him. Personality and Abilities (Required) How would your character respond to experiencing Fear? He would tense up, at first trying to talk his way out of the situation. If that doesn't work, then he will fight his way out of the situation, trying to deal with it in his own way. How would your character respond to experiencing Stress? He will go into absolute overdrive. His senses going into a heightened awareness. Until the issue is gone, he will do everything in his power to try and remove the issue as quickly as possible, getting stubborn and unresponsive. How would your character express feeling Happy? Very outgoing, he is a social butterfly when he's happy, talks to everyone and is excessively polite and always smiling. Happiness is everything that life should be and more. How does your character view Law and Authorities? With full dictation to their rank and authority, always following orders no matter how ridiculous. While obeying the law, he also respects everyone, regardless of race. Because he knows if he does not then he will be looked down on more than others. How does your character feel about Races other than their own? He's very loyal to the Ailor race. Believing himself to be an Ailor reborn because of his failures in a past life. He will protect other Ailor from harm and always make sure he does his best to help out in any way he can. Chengis feels as though he can help out his own race and other races by proving himself to the First Class races. How does your character feel about Religion for themselves, and other faiths? Chengis is a devout follower of Unionism. His Brother leads their morning and evening prayers. He believes that all other Religions outside of Unionism are false, but can not be punished, but he especially believes that Void Worship is worthy of being destroyed, sometimes by any means necessary. How does your character feel about the Arcane and Magical in the world? He's always cautious around things he doesn't understand. and that's one of the things he's cautious around. When dealing with the Arcane, he will field himself in the best way possible and try to learn what he's facing so he can work around it. How does your character feel towards their family? He loves his family, He and his brother have been through the world together. Chengis would give his life for his brother and will fight more for his family than anything else. What is your character's biggest insecurity? He's very sensetive about his past failures. Failure to protect his brother, failure to protect his friends, and failure to succeed and move forward in life. What is your character the most proud of about themselves? He is most proud of the fact that he's earned his way through life. He loves the fact that he has already succeeded in saving lives while he was formerly in the guard. He is most proud about himself trying to push himself forward in life. What motivates your character to move forward and better their life? He has a desire to succeed, and to make sure he succeeds. He wants to fight for a better life for himself and his brother, He personally is striving for first class citizenship and to become a Captain in the Guard. What is your character's biggest fear? He's afraid of failing himself. He believes that he is an Ailor reborn and failed in a previous life under the Fourth Creed and so was reborn as an inferior race. He is always afraid of failing. He considers his friends to be more of his comrades in arms such as His brother, Bhima, ( @SirJiminyCricket ) Close friend and battle buddy, Sibyllad Lykke ( @Sujitation ) His adopted son and very close friend Eric Decimar ( @Ghirko ) Battle Brother William Arnyn @Winterless (anyone else that I am missing feel free to leave a comment :D) Life Story (Required) Chengis’ life story begins with him as a Yanar child, born to an old deteriorating Yanar named Hak’Chan. Along side his birth mate Bhima, they were both born in the year 276 AD on January the 4th, his parent Yanar deceased shortly after him being born. Hak’Chan’s mental ability and physical state left him too weak to thrive in the Daendroque area due to his old age of 276 and not having regrouped up with the other Yanar behind the Forest Wall. Hak'Chan was killed by a group of Void worshipers within the first 10 days of Chengis being alive. Bhima and Chengis were discovered, and then they were rescued by a group of Unionist Priests who came along and killed the Void Worshipers. It formed him to become devout to Unionism. These priests had saved him and his brother from being turned into tortured souls. And instead they had become loyal and devout worshippers of Unionism. They were then taken to Regalia and they were taken to Regalia. Chengis ended up imprinting more on the Unionist Priests that saved their lives and was dedicated to living up to their standards. One of their rescuers, was a Paladin named Aida Dudley, took them in and raised them in the order of the Faith. Their generosity, kindness, and strength are what made Chengis and Bhima what they are today. Chengis trained in the Monastery, always the quiet and studious soul, learned fast. Accepting punishments and rewards when they were handed out. He silently followed the ways of Unionism, believing himself to be a human who had done much terror in the past life he strived to make up for it. Through the Creeds, he let himself be guided down the path to righteousness. Later he'd move out of the Monastery and move on to fighting as a gladiator, learning the way of the swords. Eventually Chengis had enough money to buy a mentor, to train him in fighting. His body already toned to the way of moving on instinct, making him a natural hand to hand fighter and fighter with his twin flax blades, seeing the farming tools as very capable weapons. He fought with natural talent and grace. His wrestling and skill with his twin swords weapons made him extrordinarily dangerous in close range. Regardless if Chengis failed to understand, he’d keep trying relentlessly to get better to where he could to improve and be fit for the school. When he was twenty, he had learned enough. He had only his brother and with his mentor now gone, He went out to fight in the areas surrounding Regalia, he would go looking for fights that had already started, always following what he thought was right. entering in to many fight clubs and training groups in order to improve. Soon, Chengis met peace with the different looking people of the world and began making friends. Chengis would continue to train. As he gained allies and friendships, his soul would continue to be harassed by thoughts of, ‘What if this is not enough? What if only by doing what I think is right, I am actually doing something wrong?’ His mind plagued with thoughts of everything that could go wrong, making him withdraw into himself. Becoming even quieter than before, and losing friends to the insanity that ran free in his mind.He had much success and much failure in this time. At age thirty five he had a respite from the plaguing thoughts. His brother returned to him, giving his thoughts on the matter by way of the Yanar’s way of sharing memories. Chengis especially comforted by the very abrupt, and direct focus Bhima had on his life. He always found solace in the care of his brother. He would be even more so in comfort when Bhima stayed around. His plaguing thoughts and memories dissipating over the time he and Bhima lived together. Then they separated once again. Bhima going on another one of his crusades in the name of Unionism, and Chengis growing close with his friends once again as he returned to his usual cheerful but quiet self. No longer played by memories. By the age of fifty he had won and lost in the fight pits, each fight pit teaching him more and more. His abilities increasing with every passing fight. Including his ability to heal himself from wounds. He'd soon draw himself to great lengths, travelling the world. One of his biggest failures during this time, he led a small squad of people to their deaths in a hunt against a bandit camp. He succeeded in taking out the camp, but the small group of fighters that had joined him perished in combat. Leaving him to take remember their names and take care of their bodies. He still holds that failure close to his heart to this day. At the age of 63, Chengis is currently with his brother, Bhima. And with the return of his Birth mate Bhima, together they are again striving to become the greatest people they can be. And they will tag team the world and take it on hard core. As he goes on in life he will look to change that, but as of now, he is always polite. Always willing to help people in whatever way he can.
@Martyr_321 Hello, I will be claiming this app for review! Walking around with a full armoury on a character is excessive. Please limit this to a weapon for each hand, i.e., shield + sword, sword + sword, shield + javelin, etc. Falx is not a combat skill, please replace this with Blades. A minor edit to the proficiencies, you have +6 Investment in parenthesis after Throwing. Please rework both the Fear and Stress sections of the personality questions. The questions are meant for you to explain how your character would react to actual fear - i.e., fear of death, facing their worst nightmare, etc. Your responses are inadequate. Please expand on all personality questions, adding at least another one to two sentences. Did Hak'Chan die from a deteriorating state or was he murdered by Void worshippers? How did Bhima and Chengis get away? You mention in his app that he is proficient at hand to hand, but did not invest any points in Unarmed. Please adjust this. There is a lot of mention of his fighting, but no mention of his past failures as noted in one of his personality questions, nor any further mention of how his faith has altered the way he interacted with the world as a whole. Please expand on his life story and focus less on his combat proficiency and more on who he was as a person growing up. Make these changes in a visible colour and tag me when you are done!
@Martyr_321 You focused your new information in the life story around more fighting and combat. Please lower the amount of combat related stories you have in his life story and focus on his actual personality. How did the death of Hak'Chan shape the way he viewed the world, what made him so faithful to Unionism beyond his growing up around it, etc. I want to know more about Chengis as a person and less about him as a combatant.
