His siblings are Humbert, the other lovely half to the whole. Along with Christie and Gaul. His extended family consists of Agathe, his aunt; Aldric, her husband; and Penelope, their cousin. Charles still seriously considers starting some sort of hat fashion industry. He tends to carry an unrealistically happy expression - concerning most rational people. His strawberry blonde hair is fashioned in a classic taper haircut - quite snazzy indeed. Charles' height mostly comes from his upper body. Though this doesn't give him any odd appearance he simply isn't t-rexing around the place. He's quite athletically built from his time training in Wapnbog and is on the cusp of what would be deemed muscular. Charles is light pale shade but still retains some more pinkish hues on his arms. His bones are quite stronger than his brother, one of the smaller differences between the two. He shows more muscle than fat, but the ratio isn't too unbalanced. Charles, much like his brother, is at the cutting edge of fashion. They're quite indated, you know? That's a word, right? Indated? Yes, it is - because the twins say so. This twin, in particular, wears a navy blue coat with the most splendid yellow tie. His pants are always well-kept and his boots are absolute to die for. Charles has a rather feminine voice compared to his physique. Its flowery tone does help calm people down quite well when defusing a situation. He'll easily be overwhelmed by multiple opponents, as he can barely react to even one. Likes Archery: Mostly just bias, he is quite enthusiastic about archery. He tends to not perform the activity due to the longbow's cumbersome design, but watching a regular match isn't a far-flung idea. Hates: Most would refer to this as a 'hat', but not the Nodiers. Charles absolutely adores hates in any fashion. Big hates, little hates - fancy hates, simplistic hates. All hates are greats to Charles. Sadly, most are not so enthusiastic about them as he is. Monty: Charles still holds Monty, Gillot Montgomery, in high regard. Being especially possessive about him than most. He retains affection for him at all times - even when he yells at him and calls him obscenities. Dislikes Bed Hair: Really? Couldn't you take 10 minutes to fix that? Charles absolutely spits upon those that would disrespect the fine extension of the human that is known as 'hair'. To simply ignore the pleading calls of one's hair - is to abandon one's own character. Mismatched Outfits: Absolutely horrendous. If the young man could somehow spin terribly matched outfits as a "Public disturbance" he truly - truly would. Sadly, Charles will have to stick with throwing as much shade as he can - hopefully it'll darken them out so much he won't have to see them anymore. Soup: What a vile little invention, Charles would surely say. The idea that such a watery and sometimes slimy thing even exists confuses the poor lad to this day. He prefers more solid or meatier things than some disgusting slop in a bowl. Can't even hold it's own form - how shameful. Relationships Humbert de Nodier - Brother - @Eremophobia : His brother and twin, the last vestige of Charles' sanity in this cruel, cruel world. Though they sometimes fight and argue - they're still the best of brothers. Gillot Montgomery - Servant/Friend - @katiesc: The head servant to the small estate de Nodier, and friend to Charles. He's rather possessive of the poor boy, and this can lead to rather abusive or loving moments. Life Story [Brief Edition] ~Infancy: Years 0 - 4~ The young man is born to his family upon the estate juxtaposed to the La Rivière du Prospérité, quite upriver from the city of Havenreach. Twins meet Monty and their mother takes quite good care of them. Monty's parents had been employed by the parents, and Monty was slowly being trained for the same purpose. Parent's relationship begins to tilt before Sophia poisons Charles' father and marries a rich man from a far-off land. ~Childhood: 5 - 12~ Charles continues on with life after his father's death, training at a young age in a nearby officer academy to eventually join up with the Ithanian military. Worked as an employee within a shipping company, failing miserably. His tendency to slack off and manipulate others into doing his work eventually bite him in the back. Charles founded a relationship with another young man at the company, sharing a close friendship until the day Charles got fired. ~Adoloscence: 13 - 17 ~ Charles begins to train in Château Suvlière de Prixois, Ithania to become a full-fledged field officer for the Ithanian military. The eccentric man would constantly get into trouble by never following the standard code of leadership. Constantly questioning the methods employed and seeking his own way - for better or far worse. Enlisted in the Ithanian military at 17; however, his inexperience tended to keep him working in internal affairs rather than in any wars. ~Adulthood: 18 - Present~ Charles ships off to Regalia after an interoffice incident with another of the young officers in Ithania, and begins finding working in the city guard. Attempted to confess to Monty, but was rejected on the spot. The first time Charles ever had his love rejected. Served in the Violet Guard, the Hightower Guard, and the Blackguard Regiment over his long period of service to the Empire. Ran into an incident at the Old Town Crisis Checkpoint with a vampiric suicide bomber during the 306 AC Vampire Plague of Regalia. His left arm was blown off, and his once gorgeous face disfigured. Slowly began to reconstruct his face using extensive makeup products, though he would never look at gorgeous as he once did. Began, upon the suggestion of Jared Kade, researching into alternative methods of combat. The most useful to him he could see in his heavily reduced state was the usage of blackpowder. Eventually realized his uselessness as a frontline fighter anymore, and began dedicating his time to learning more about the threats that had plagued Regalia. After having failed in his Foreign Legion Rebellion plot, he fled into hiding for a long period of time - waiting for the heat of his crimes to die down, and for people to forget his name. Charles has recently returned to Regalia after his years in hiding to once again attempt to garner the reputation and power to fulfill his ambitions.
My Review: His personality paragraphs are somewhat lacking in terms of information, please ensure that each has four points of content in them. Do not mention in the Relationship section that his own brother is his lover, that is tmi to an uncomfortable level. You can suggest that they might be considered by some to be "over-affectionate" with each other but directly saying they are lovers is not something I will allow in this application. Your life story needs work. It has far too much modern language and is too short, I would add an additional 2-3 points per section to get a more complete picture of his life. For example, you sum up his entire teenage period with two points. In addition, you don't mention any emotional events in his life, first girlfriend, getting really angry, emergence of his vaguely sociopathic tendencies. My final point: Where did his family live before the revolt against them. Because if it was in the Regalian Archipelago, the state probably would have gotten involved and crushed such an action, reinstalling the family because rightful nobility which did no damage to the Empire. In other regions, their practices are unknown and it can be assumed that they could have lost their title for the revolt. Please do this edit in red @MrChadington
