Within the deep of the night, a few notes here and there were spread around by a figure dressed in white, their face covered. The notes contained all the same writing and the same message:

Isn't it remarkable?
A criminal, highly wanted for execution, not only failed to be executed twice but
also being (apparently) set free and getting sympathy from the guard.
Looks like we can't trust the ones who are supposed to protect us...

These things were overheard in the Rose Court yesterday:
"The Greywitch Chapter apparently set the sanguine free."

"Merith 'got out', I doubt the Guards set her free, but you can send your complaints about Merith, I'll make sure they'll end up in the nearest Violet Order Dumpster."

"Merith died during the bombing of the Sewers, though it isn't likely she did, considering no official statement has been released."

"I still have hope for Merith, she didn't want any of this to begin with. I think there's something worth saving"

Be sure to keep your eyes and ears open.

Underneath the message would be the Unionist Eye Symbol, but the pupil would appear as a snake pulling all the strings.
(OOC note: I was supposed to post this last night but I ended up falling asleep)

Winifred Marth folded her arms as she read the message before giving a loud snort of disbelief. "Someone is really going to take the word of those in Rose Court seriously? Half of them are wanted by the Greywitches, they're just bitter."

Malyrra read over the note before letting out a huff. "Does it matter what a sanguine does or doesn't want? The only thing they deserve is a swift execution." she contiuned to grumble as she wandered off.

To the anonymous and misinformed,

I deeply apologize for the fact that some people saw fit to lie to you. While my hands are, as you'd expect, tied on publicly discussing the matter of Merith Wyrmwood, I will correct your accusations.

The Greywitch Chapter has, and will continue to, vehemently pursue all forms of illegal aberration and vileness. Merith Wyrmwood has not, and never will be, an exception. As a violent, unhinged and unempathetic monster of a person, responsible for incredible amounts of suffering and grief, it would be a disservice for us to not kill her.
While I appreciate the airing of concerns, it would be preferred if you brought these said concerns to the Violet Order rather than yelling rumors to the rooftops as if they were confirmed fact. In the future, please do direct such rumor mongers to the Greygate facility so that we may verbally respond to such accusations, rather than repeating an almost embarrassing instance such as this where unfounded claims are publicized with nothing in terms of proof.
I would be happy to discuss this at your earliest convenience, if you have further questions. My cousin runs one of Regalia's few newspapers, so perhaps if you want to use that investigative spirit for something good, we can work something out.

Best of wishes,
Leufred du Brierüst,
Duke of Maraisburke,
Grand Commander of the Violet Order,
Commander of the Greywitch Guard.

A note would be placed near this with a string pinned to the mention of 'the Anonymous and Misinformed' Leading to this new note
the note listed a few individuals

"Auro the Sihndar
Unnamed red Songaskian often wearing a hat
Ahti Seppänen"

Merith scanned over the parchment, before putting it down and realizing that she needed something alcoholic, regardless of how much it tasted like ash.
"I'm not drunk enough for this."

Enzo Celso nodded to Gallus Tyrannian and put it in the file, next to the 'Basta' file containing some pretty questionable material.

A certain female Songaskian went for a walk in the early morning.
With her hat on her head and stave in her right gloved hand, she strolled down the streets.

Soon, she stumbled upon the three notes.
Curious, she read the first one. After she was done, she read the second one.

"I apologize for the fact that people saw fit to lie to the misinformed... mhm... but we're the one with the accu- contradiction much?
Whatever."

She continued reading.

"Oh, I'll be sure to discuss this!"

After she was done reading the second note, she bent to read the third note, considering she's 6'6.
After that was done, the Songaskian grinned.

"Guess it was right to not give my name to that guy, I knew he was going to play the snitch, but guess what: I got his.
Two can play the same game.
Also, I'm not RED."

With her gloved hand, she scribbled down 'Karp' in a corner of the third note with the ugliest handwriting.
She then trotted along, heads up, to her bar, where she would write a letter for Leufred.

Fen'nan's blue-green gaze flicked over the notes, her lips pulled into a grin. "Oh, ha ha, this is what the Violets threw a riot about with the speech, innit?" She began to snicker even more so as she peered over the rest of all the others notes, idly twirling a lock of fiery-red hair around a gloved finger as she did so.

"AHAH! Snitches get stitches. Bad Karp, tsk tsk." She mocked, straightening with a cool smirk placated on her features, "This is why you don't let nobles run things. Now we all gotta watch our bloody mouths again."

Ahti would look at his name before crossing it out and just writing "No" next to it.
