Appearance Information:
Callum is a 6'2" Ailor man with dark brown hair and green eyes (hiding his secular heterochromia red with glamour). He's a fairly softspoken person in his clothing too, dressing more humbly whilst working as a bartender, and even more so when he is out and about. He's pretty much just a guy.
Skill Information:
Mechanics:
Ailor
Ailor are masters of languages, which is expected given their habit to culturally divides. Because so many of their languages are inter-connected, various words become more obviously related, and they also take more effort to learn other languages. If someone insults an Ailor, even in a language they do not speak, the Ailor would know, as they know most curse words or words by which to speak ill of others in all languages.
Ailor are the masters of the Regalian Empire, and while it has equality between all peoples and heritages, Ailor are just by virtue of being Ailor considered preferential for most government positions and judicial situations. Where possible to do with the Nobility, with Government, or with Palace decisions, Ailor will be treated preferentially over other peoples, even if their qualifications might be lesser than the other options.
Ailor make for excellent negotiators. Ailor gain +2 on top of every Persuasion Dice roll result, and their Persuasion Cap is also increased by +2 for every Dice Roll. These effects only apply to non-Afflicted, non-Mystech individuals, as their speech and habits are entirely fine-tuned to the more mundane aspects of global society, they must venture beyond their comfort zone to be able to reach Magic things.
Ailor whether by divine intervention or by sheer dump cosmic luck, always somehow end up on the right side of history. Ailor Characters when participating in Events, may sometimes stumble into an extreme luck roll that drops an additional loot item for one of the participants. This loot can be physical items, or intangible things like Divinium or an Artifactspark. Chances are higher for non-Magic using Ailor than Magic using Ailor.
Ailor when using Syncretism can worship up to 3 Gods of their sub-dominant Religion, instead of just 1 or 2. Additionally, when Syncretizing, they gain the Mechanic of the sub-dominant Religion (except for Evolism, where only one of the Mechanics can be chosen). If your Character does not Syncretize, they gain +1 Attack Stat (Breaking Cap up to 11) against Characters that have Syncretized their mono-faith.

Backstory:
Callum is from a humble beginning, his family owning a smaller brewery in Ostiermark, in a town more towards the mountainous region of western Zellbrucke. He didn't have much to worry about in such a small town, not for a long time, until an incident happened in their place. Nobody knows why, but a fire began in the brewery- the locals unable to stop the flames from taking it all down. However, Callum got out with minimal injuries as the only survivor, and moved to work at the local tavern as a bartender to make a living until recently. He was inspired to open his own tavern, somewhere people could find solace in. So, from the tavern he worked at, he finally earned enough money to travel around, deciding to make a home in Regalia- though... not without a pitstop in Amontaar after hearing the rumors of the drama occurring.
Plothooks:
Squeamish
Hilariously, Callum is incredibly disturbed by blood and gore and will get physically ill seeing it. While he tries his best to hide it, he may or may not react well to seeing it (I do personal rolls to see how well he handles it)
Cooking and Brewing
Callum likes brewing alcohol in general on top of cooking- but he doesn't drink himself.
Combat
While normally a pacifist, Callum is not opposed to violence in general... his mind in battle is different, as he fights more like a bar brawler than anything (too many tavern scraps). He doesn't even keep a weapon on him because he doesn't want to hurt people more than he has to... especially killing- he doesn't want to kill unless he has to.
Amontaar
Callum was in Amontaar! Feel free to ask him about his time there.

...So, you've opened this because you want to know the juicy details (or you already know and want to see how I write it)...
Well, Callum was born a brood- his father being a Greater Vampire of the Vintgast Bloodline. His mother was a regular Ailor woman, who fell in love with the allure of his father's lifestyle. She was originally meant to be prey, but his father instead chose to take her as his bride- which she wholeheartedly accepted. Callum was born from their union, raised with the culture his mother held dearly. With this, he had a taste for blood early on- though the idea of it made him sick every time he fed. His father, unhappy with this, would often force him to down blood instead of regular meals- furthering his disdain for blood itself. Despite this, he'd say he lived a regular childhood with his mother, though in his teens is where things changed. His father decided one day that he wanted his family to remain at his side- and turned both Callum and his mother. Infected and turned fledgling vampires, Callum and his mother adjusted to life as vampires under his father's teachings. It was an interesting life for him- not exactly good, but not exactly bad... and he could tolerate the tonics made from blood better than he could actual blood. However, his father began to spiral out of anger and desperation, tired of the same feeding habits from the region. He began to plan to kidnap some of the locals via a feast, and bleed them dry. Callum, however, did not approve of this idea at all, and got into a heated fight with his own father. On the night of the fire, the fight had reached a breaking point for both, and they both snapped rather violently at one another. They fought rather violently, destroying much inside in the process before Callum successfully bit into his father's neck- effectively able to feed from him. His mother aimed to try and convince him to spare his father and feed her his blood- but in his disgust with what he had become, he moved to burn the whole place down. Since then, he's been in hiding, and tries to evade other vampires as well.
UPDATE: He got cured by Henry Windrocker!

Squeamish

Callum struggles to feed, and absolutely refuses to feed off of other beings directly. Instead, he prefers hunting animals to drain for blood... though even that is hard for him.
Cooking and Brewing
Callum likes brewing alcohol in general on top of cooking- but he doesn't drink himself.
Due to being a Vintgast, he does know how to make the vampiric tonics, but he usually doesn't have the supplies to do so. If you're a vampire and get him stuff to brew- it's likely he will do so just to thank them.
Callum is an Ex-Brood, meaning he's kept his sanity this whole time- however, it does have his drawbacks. He tends to take in brood because he doesn't want them to end up like him. He aspires to give them a semblance of normalcy, unlike what he had growing up.
AFFLICTION UPDATE: Callum has been cured of vampirism thanks to Faunfire
Vampires are a whole other story. While he is one, it doesn't mean he likes them. He'll play nice, and put on a face with them- but anything he does with other Greater Vampires is done with caution... He knows he is not like them- and he knows they'll hunt him if they find out.
