They know what it is to hear a crowd roaring around her, the sound melding with their heart beat. She knows the passion of it, the brutality, the love of the people, and she thrives off of it. In Qelis she was a reknowned gladiator but after a string of unfortunate events Azehdeh left her home and turned to the only place she knew she would have a chance at starting over. So here she is, starting over in a place she's never known, with people that may or may not accept her. [Appearance Information] With her near 6ft height and strong form from her years as a gladiator, Azehdeh comes off as initimidating upon first glance. If it's not her size that makes her stick out, more often than not its how her naturally white feathers, which are often painted a bright orange and faded maroon, contrast with her piercing blue eyes. She's rarely seen without their light colored fur cloak draped over her shoulders and the gold living metal chains around her arms. Azehdeh wears a traditional satoor that's orange in color and often goes bare foot when traveling. Her mother was a star gladiator and athlete so she expected the same of Azehdeh. Instead of playing with other children, Azehdeh was often going through training in her free time. Azehdeh never saw much of an issue with this as she enjoyed spending time with her mother and looked forward to eventually being deemed good enough to enter the arena herself. Before her first official match set in the arena while she was waiting to make her entrance, Azehdeh met another Savent by the name of Fereshteh, a kind and beautiful Diviner who served as a therapist and healer for those who had lost both in the arena or someone to it. She was there for anyone who may have needed her. Azehdeh won her first match, attributing it to Fereshteh's good luck of being around before hand. They became fast friends, forming an instant bond that only depended as time went on and Azehdeh's prowess in the arena grew. Their friendship bloomed into a loving relationship that led to Fereshteh gifting Azehdeh the fur cloak she often wears now. Fereshteh had sewn it herself and used the gift to comemorate their first anniversy together. Their happiness wasn't to last though. Azehdeh's mother recently passed, through natural causes, which should have been the first sign of things going wrong for Azehdeh. Her passing led to Azehdeh's first loss in the arena after years of many wins and left her with a crack along her beak. Defeated but trying her best to recuperate from her loss, she stayed home and trained, it wasn't until thhe guards came to arrest her that she realized everything around her was doomed to fall apart. Fereshteh had been murdered in her home and all the evidence pointed towards Azehdeh. Nobody believed her denial and with no time to try to find the murderer herself she chose to run. For a long while she moved from place to place until she came to the conclusion that she had to start over. She remembered Fereshteh wanted to go to Regalia to help the Asha there and to learn of their past heritages more in depth. With Fereshteh no longer able to do so, Azehdeh chose to fullfill her wish in her stead and left for Regalia the following night.
