Visual Information (Expansion) Spoiler Aurelius' face is pretty enlonged in shape, his cheekbones being very pronounced and high while his chin narrow and squarish. His pale blue eyes are set highly on his face, bordered by thick lashes. On the overall, despite the strong features, Aurelius' face results in being extremely graceful and oftenly quite androginous. Due to years of dancing and training, Aurelius' body seems to be definitely toned, although in a slender and elegant way. His muscles are long and graceful, the ankles and wrists being very thin and his entire body assuming a feminine appearance. Aurelius hasn't too much of body hair, due to their being very light and thin; this being said, he's often keen on removing them, as he finds them unaesthetic and gross. For the many years spent roaming the lands of Aloria, Aurelius has partially lost his accent, his voice being warm and pretty fast. He may not be the most-well-mannered man in Regalia, but he hasn't any problem when relating to the other nobles. Personality and Abilities Personality Traits Hedonistic(-) either for his affinity towards fun and pleasure or for the chance to choose to move from part to part of Aloria at will, the young man experienced perhaps the most unusual freedom possible for a child of lower nobility. While this could be thought as a consequence of his freedom and his independency, in truth, the young man identified fun as a way to escape from the voices in his head and his insecurities. Not only did this influence his already eccentric persona, but particularly affected his lifestyle, led by the search of pleasure and lust. Attention Seeker(-) the boy’s eternal seeking for attention resulted in his finding of comfort in the role of the ‘victim’. While, with time this part of his personality partially started to fade, it still highly affects the way the young man interacts with people. Aurelius stopped to play the victim when he figured out that people could easily get bored of it, and that eventually, the only way to gain attention wasn’t crying for help, but rather pleasing and attracting people towards oneself. Egocentric (-) it's no doubt Aurelius developed a huge ego through his life. Under his many masks, the boy hides a deep sense of insecurity and unhappiness left by the absence of references in his life. He will often be seen talking about his countless journeys or telling a bizarre story. All of this, on a subconscious level, is the response to his lack of self confidence and is directly linked to his need for attention. Independent (o) from the day a tutor was assigned to him, Aurelius grew up with basically no parental figure. In his many travels, alone or not, the boy found himself on his own an infinite amount of times, being forced to learn to take care of himself. He has no problem wandering alone in a big city, nor handling the cooking or the cleaning of a house, although he usually prefers to rely on servants and maids for such matters. Open Minded (o) as he rounded the world, the young man had the chance to engage with many different cultures and people. While at some points the differences could be intimidating, Aurelius achieved a different view of the world, in which he belonged, no matter what his status or birth certificate displayed. Made the exception of a few non-ailor races, the boy has grown up to be quite a tolerant and acceptant person. Passionate (o) this can seem a very positive trait at first, but in further analysis, it’s clear that it reveals a double edged weapon nature. If on one hand, it can be highly motivated when learning something he's passionate about, on the other hand, he naturally refuses to focus on something when it’s not cognate to his likings. For this reason, Aurelius can also be identified as a shallow person, rarely seeing the bigger picture. Sharp (+) a natural observer, as a kid , he’d usually spend much time studying things around him, perceiving details often not evident to a standard eye. For example, one of his favourite game as a child was the ‘Who is who’ with Mary. Basically, the two kids had to create a whole backstory for a random stranger, often explaining some details of his appearance and how they matched with his story. Long story short, Aurelius used to win every time for the great amount of details he could find. Quirky (+) as a result of his cosmopolitan nature, Aurelius almost immediately adopted some habits and customs of the places he visited. He may seem simple at first sight, but that’s probably becouse you’ve never seen him perform the belly dance with full-traditional-dress. Firstly, this is Aurelius' answer to his personal need to enjoy himself, and secondly, it's somewhat linked to his wish for attention. Genuine (+) be it for the long time spent not having to stick to some obnoxious rules and etiquette, Aurelius sometimes truly can’t help himself speaking his mind. While this is a dangerous trait in a society where freedom of speech doesn’t exist, it can still be of great appreciation to other people. His brother, Nathaniel is currently working to mitigate his ‘honesty’ in order to introduce him to the noble enviroment. Strengths Agility his slender build and grace affect positively the speed and agility of his movements, making of Aurelius a skilled runner aswell as a great dancer. In a fight, the young man would rely on his rapidity to escape or to dodge hits. Curiosity perhaps one of the main traits that defined the man’s personality and ambition is indeed, that of curiosity. Anything in which Aurelius detains some curiosity -and passion-, immediately receives an enormous bump of improvement. Determination Aurelius knows exactly what he wants and has no problem to move in order to achieve it. Mostly visible in seduction, this trait eventually extends to every aspect of the young man's life. Although he needs time to understand what he wants, as he happens to be always questioned by his insecure conscience, at the end he will follow the path chosen to death. Persuasiveness Aurelius has found himself many and many times in hard situations, even dangerous at some points, but yet -in most of the cases- he revealed to be quite resourceful when needed, for example making a great use of words to persuade. Due to his being a very attractive person and for his charming temperament this represents one of his best assets. Weaknesses Delicate Frame while it favors his agility, on the other side , it can cause some serious problem in a fight, due to his very low strength. He could run for a hour, with the grace and speed of a cat, but just with a single hit would faint. Therefore, Aurelius avoids any melee combat, being often intimidated by the strenght and size of other men. Obstinacy when the man takes a choice there's not much to do, as Aurelius isn't quite rational on usual. He was never an easy influenced subject, often thinking and speaking his mind. While persuading the young man isn't surely impossible, Aurelius most usually finds other people's ideas obsolete and will only take seriously those of someone whom he trusts. Low Self Esteem a direct consequence of his fear of abandonment and lack of parental figures is the young man's low to none esteem. While it may not be clear on the outside, his mind is perpetually afflicted by negative thoughts, promptly rejected by the man and pushed on the back of his mind. The only moment in which those 'voices' are kept mute, is when he dances. This being said, the boy doesn't open up on his problems to basically nobody, for the fear of giving a vile image of himself, miserable and uninteresting. He hates to express his own feelings and will avoid the conversation as much as he can. Dyslexia when as a child, Aurelius beginned his education, it was clear to him something was wrong. Compared to his older brothers, the child felt different and therefore stupid, inferior. Whether he left his studies for his low interest or for his partial disability doesn't matter, as both of them influenced the kid's choice. To these days, Aurelius still finds the idea of reading publicly a nightmare and is often uncomfortable when listening to a long and complex conversation. Life Story Childhood Born on 2th May of the year 284 AC, Aurelius was the third-born of House Bigge. Being the youngest son -at the time- certainly guaranteed the boy an extraordinary amount of attention from his parents, until the day of birth of his two sisters. From the age of three, Aurelius would spend much less time with her Mother, nonetheless his point of reference, and more with his two brothers. As the years passed, while his bonds with his siblings tightened, the boy started his path for Education. Aurelius had a brilliant mind, but little to no interest in Arts and Rhetorics, aswell as Combat and Sailing, which led to his decision to oppose against his parents. While at first this had started as a way to catch their attention, which the eight year-old boy lacked, it soon became a style of life. Teenagehood At the age of eleven, when his parents’ figures became only a distant formality, he decided to follow his own path. Tutored by a famous Ithanian dancer, Aurelius discovered the beauty of dance and ballet. Usually pairing with his cousin Maria, they shared many lessons, thanks to which the boy acquired such a grace, comparable to that of a woman, if not beyond. His mind grew open and his horizons wider, and his main ambitions were exploring the world and seeing what it had to offer. Aurelius family funded his many journeys around Aloria, developing a great sense of independence and cosmopolitanism. The teenager escaped from the bigot reality of the Estate and embraced the path of fun, exploration and love. Latest Years Later, on his eighteenth birthday, Aurelius received a letter from his family that stated the death of father. A few weeks later, the man moved back to his hometown after years of long travels, interrupted only by brief visits to his family Estate. To these days, the boy’s ambitions kept unchanged, although duty demanded to stay beside his brothers and sisters. Map of his Travels (Expansion) Spoiler Aurelius spent quite a great portion of his teenagehood wandering around Aloria, for years travelling from part to part of the world without an established destination. Firstly with a tutor, later on as a lonely wanderer, the young boy started his long journey for the discovery of Aloria. The table displays all of his travels, from the age of thirteen to that of eighteen. OOC Information Aurelius is quite fluent in Ithanian and has a more than basic knowledge of Daenroqin. He's lived in Ithania for one entire year and visited it almost every year for a short period. Aurelius spent a small period of time with his family each year, between a trip and another. Due to this, he's never gotten too close to his familiars, and has had really low interactions with his Family business and political situation. Aurelius felt in love many and many times during his travels, although he only had two important relationships, one of which is still on hold at the moment, long story short: it's complicated. Spoiler: First Year First Year Mentored by his fellow Master, Dominique, Aurelius left his hometown to embrace his adventure in the beautiful and warm continent of Ithania, nontheless his tutor’s homeland. A native of the Citoye culture, Dominique taught the boy everything about the common ithanian lifestyle, somewhat teaching him the basics of Ithanian, in which only later Aurelius became fluent. While he only stayed for two months, the young boy reluctantly left the lands of Ithania, with the wish to one day reach against its shores. Interrupted by a brief visit to his family Estate, the young kid sailed on the day of his birthday, beginning his trip to Daenshore. Since the first day of his stay, Aurelius grew bored of the place. Although its undoubted beauty, Daenshore couldn’t do much to compete with Ithania, being much less lavish and more attached to traditions. Also, for its streets incredibly full of poverty and criminality, the boy refused to leave the high districts of Daenshore, promising himself never to come back. This was before getting to know the Sun Isles. Back once again for the End of the year’s festival, the young man had reunited with his two brothers and his two younger sisters. Spoiler: Second Year Second Year A few months before his fourteenth birthday, precisely in February Aurelius landed in Regalia, a destination that had been highly requested by his parents, who hoped he could one day be their family representative in the Holy City. Unfortunately, the young boy was too young and far less interested in politics than they hoped, resulting in a disappointing experience both for him and his parents. This being said, the trip didn’t reveal to be a total failure, as a brief idea of the Regalian lifestyle grew in Aurelius’ mind. To the boy’s joy, his family allowed him to return once more in his beloved Ithania, in which he arrived in June and sailed back three months later. On this occasion, due to his family’s unwillingness to keep paying for his tutor, Aurelius had to divide from Dominique. It’s during this period that the boy met his first love, a lower noble such as himself, who happened to belong to the Champagnard cultural group. While the boy thought they’d be together forever, the story lasted barely two months, due to his partner departure for his military training. He still holds quite a resentment towards this guy. When, in October, he'd returned back to his family estate Aurelius was surprised to see both of his sisters growing up as young ladies and somewhat disappointed not finding Nathaniel at home. In December the young boy sailed once more, this time headed to the Sun Isles. Spoiler: Third Year Third and Forth Year One of the best moments in Aurelius life was indeed, that of his travel in the Sun Isles. Due to his love for its culture and lands the boy refused for months to leave the Isles. There, the Bigge boy met a new form of dance, of which he immediately became fond of: the belly dance. Commonly a feminine practice, for his noble origins, it was given him the opportunity to learn it himself, although not without plenty of disappointment glares. While he did, learn the Daenroqin, Aurelius never became fluent in it, only being able to communicate in a very basic way. During this period, the young boy found himself a new love interest, an older guy from a rich family, although of commoner origins. When he left the Isles, the day after his fifteenth birthday, his partner, Ambar, moved with him, refusing to let him go. In his trip back home, Aurelius presented his lover as “his fellow guide” although clearly showing his feelings for the older guy. Together, they sailed to Elladora. Perhaps one of his shortest trips, Aurelius decided to leave the icy lands in order to embrace once again the warm lifestyle of Ithania, in which he dwelled for the entirety of the forth year. Spoiler: Fifth Year Fifth Year In request of his partner, Aurelius left Ithania for the last time, moving instead towards the Caliphene Republic. While both of them enjoyed the rest, particularly in the city of Meressa, Aurelius had to hurry back home due to his father’s death. Sailed on the day of his birthday, he reached the Regalian shores in late June.
Hi, @Cyliah! I'm going to admit, a glance at this application and I'll say it's actually really well done. I did spot a few interesting contradictions throughout the application I'd like to point out, though, but they're minor. In "Hedonistic" you state that he's not scared of being himself and generally rather content with how he is, yet you keep the weakness of having low esteem. This is a bit of a wonky contradiction. I'm nitpicking here. In "Obstinacy" you state that he's not quite rational and doesn't see the bigger picture (in Passionate), while in strengths you say he's prudent and always carefully thinks things through. I see that there might be an inkling of contradiction here, but it's not that much of a problem. On a completely other note, I'd very much like you to expand on how his weaknesses affect him today. You've done a great job when it comes to describing them in detail (with nice analogies, too,) but you need to be sure you know how you're planning to roleplay it out too, so please add a sentence or two onto every weakness trait. You could also do this to the strengths, but I find it more important to focus on roleplaying out the weaknesses. His dyslexia for example; he dances a lot, so how is the weakness justified as a weakness that could be used in roleplay? In which situations has he been in trouble due to his dyslexia, and how does it affect him during his time in Regalia? You never mention in his life story how he actually came to Regalia. Most characters are roleplayed here (as I'm sure you know, regardless,) so if he too is one of those people, please briefly mention at the end why and how he decided to come to Regalia. Other than that, I'm going to admit your application is really good! Just fix some of these things and most issues should be gone, I think. Please highlight all edits you make in a colour of your choosing. Like pink for example. Happy writing!

Heey, i believe i should have fixed everything! I totally removed the strenght prudence cuz as you said it kinda was controvertial to the character personality, and i agree with that. About how he came in Regalia, I'm going to write a whole section of the sheet about his travels and experiences, being a huge part of his persona ^.^ If there's anything that still need fixing, let me know <3
One last little thing I noticed is that you state his weapon of choice is a bow. While this is written in the top of the application, I can't see you having mentioned it anywhere else in the application, let alone his life story. Please either include the bow later on in the application, or just completely remove it. Remember that your weapon of choice doesn't necessarily have to be a physical thing; it can be his persuasiveness, his agility or his ability to get out of sticky situations. Other than that, I think you're almost done!

Last little comment; I know the weakness says "Low Esteem", but I assume you mean self-esteem in this. I'd advise you to expand on how this affects him in his daily life, like how he may be easily manipulated or how it otherwise would play an actual weakness to his character in roleplay. The point of the weaknesses is that there are some interesting plot and character developing situations your character may land themselves in where their flaws will play a large role in how competent they are. So just add maybe 1-2 sentences on "Low Esteem" detailing how it affects him in roleplay.
