Always diving herself into studies to learn what she found interesting. Taught many things as a child, she got a firm grasp at them at a young age. A prodigy was what she was often called by those who visited, and many had high hopes for her. But her true dream? To be the leader of her own household. Men couldn’t do their jobs correctly, from what she could see. A desire for power is what pushed her, and her abilities to show them she was capable of it. Born in Teled Methen, she was always a firm believer in Estel, and always seeked guidance to ensure things would work out in her favor. Her desire of this was prevalent by those who saw. The amount of time and care she put into everything they did, sparking relationships to get on people’s good side. But Aurae was a selfish woman. No matter how much she got, she wasn’t satisfied. She needed to have more, to keep herself going. It would not be over until she took hold of her own family and led it into what SHE thought was correct. And things were going well, up until her arranged marriage. Aurae wasn’t exactly thrilled, and it seemed her own husband wasn’t thrilled with her ideals. To him, she was foolish. A matriarch in a patriarchal family? Truly something to laugh at. Her husband took a trip and ended up having a child with another woman. She was furious, but knew she couldn’t divorce as it would taint her own family name. Aurae willingly took their child into custody and cared for her herself. K’yana and Kayn were born by blood before then, and she adopted Phyraa out of pity. She might have not been the best mom, but did what she felt was right for her children, raising them to pursue whatever they felt was worth it. And just recently, she moved to Regalia to start a new life, hopefully without her husband for the meantime. As her children moved on, she couldn’t help but insert herself into their lives and do what was best for the family. Being now named the matriarchy, that of a surprise it was when announced, she felt elated. She had gotten what she wanted, but it seems Kayn has been rather against her wishes, making things harder for her for now.
