    Personality and Abilities

    Personality Traits

    • Cheerful: Asfaer is a cheerful Altalar at most times. He enjoys a good joke every now and then, it’s most evident that he laughs quite often. Though it’s typically something that is seen in his social life, there is definitely room for laughter in all aspects of his life, including the occasional battlefield joke. But this trait is abolished whenever in the presence of Shendar, due to his extreme fear of the Void and the corrupted Elves.

    • Loyal: The Altalar is incredibly loyal to those who sees as allies. Despite having a dogmatic loyalty to those of his higher ups, he finds his family are the people he is most loyal to. He knows where his alliances lies and despises betrayal, despite this he would never attack a family member /even/ if ordered to by one of his Higher-ups in a more professional lifestyle. Seen in all aspects of his life, he will defend his family in arguments, combat and in any scenario - really.

    • Extroverted: Asfaer of course is about as extroverted as his brother is. He would approach a stranger easily and genuinely enjoys the social life that comes with being an extrovert. He cares about others and understands their emotions and problems. Listening in on the plant’s emotions and relating them to real-world emotion has proven to enhance his extroverted nature.

    • Curious: He’s curious of those things around him he doesn’t inherently understand. A good example would be the Elven Pantheon. He doesn’t understand how they or Silveiralls work at all, and he’d like to find out. The only downfall of his curiosity is that sometimes it can get him into dangerous business. His family often spends time getting him out of these messes and trying to atone for his over-curiousity.

    • Narrow-minded: His prejudice for his opinions and inability to see eye to eye with other people on opinions like politics is not very strong, though he is an extrovert, it is more so an acting trait, he doesn’t appreciate it when he is conflicted opinionatedly therefore leading to his high sense of narrow-mindedness. Seen mostly more than often in his social life, this trait is only mainly evident within that of heated debates and verbal conflict.

    • Power-Hungry: He is constantly seeking for the ultimate power source, to be feared by those opposing him. He is hungry for the power needed to summon a Bark Giant independant from the collaborated efforts of his brother - or his Evergrowth peers around him. His goal is to make sure that he is the strongest, alongside his brother and if not, one of the strongest mages that practice within the world, but they are more than often reminded that Evergrowth Magic isn’t the only form, and there are counters to their ability.
    Strengths

    • Evergrowth Magic Proficiency: Asfaer is an incredibly proficient Evergrowth Mage, able to handle multiple emotions of plants around him at once and issue basic and some complex commands to plants at times, through the combined efforts of his Evergrowth Mage peers he is able to raise Bark Giants, which seem to be the field he wishes to specialize in. Having practiced raising a Bark Giant with his brother Arlaen quite often he has spent great time studying the anatomy of Bark Giants.
    • Stamina: The Altalar has remarkable stamina, he is able to exert lots of energy and endure the effects afterwards, this goes hand in hand with casting Evergrowth Magic. Though it is kind of necessary to have remarkable stamina for Evergrowth Magic, he seems to come blessed with this trait, indefinitely assisting with his proficiency in the Magical arts.
    • Intelligent: Asfaer is intelligent on a matter of subjects. Due to his extensive knowledge on magic and learning about the world around him from a certain group of mages in Uven Delaris, Asfaer has gained intelligence that no poor and average Elf could hope to gain. Such as but is not limited to: Common tongue skills, Elvish tongue skills, Evergrowth Magic, and more.
    • Alchemy- 3 years be for his brother went missing, Asfaer had started in the studies of alchemy. His high level of intelligence allowed him to understand the teachings given to him and allowed him to grasp the deeper concept. 3 years of study is fair for Asfaer. He'd not want to overwhelm himself with talent.
    Weaknesses

    • Delicate Body Build: Asfaer’s body is not necessarily the strongest - while he does have slight muscle present on his abdomen this is contradictory, as that is only the result of much house work and not having consumed too much fat content within his life, not to say he is malnourished or not eating balanced. He has a slim build, and while he can present himself as 'strong' in the stereotypical sense, he is actually rather weak and delicate when it comes to hand to hand combat and melee prowess. This is why he typically tries to avoid weapon user combat altogether, hence the few times he is required to defend himself by conjuring a Bark Giant in unison with another Evergrowth Mage, or his brother.
    • Fear of Shendar: Ever since his education Asfaer has been taught to be weary of the Void-Elves that lurked and seeked to corrupt the forests of Uven Delaris. Fearing their power he has developed a paranoia that their practice of Void Magic has the ability to corrupt the Elven Goddess, while the opinion is certainly not shared, this has lead to a fear of Shendar whole. And on extension, a fear of the Void and it’s magics, given that he was raised to practice Exist magic - connecting with the Void and that concept of Magic is /very/ alien to him.
    • Short-tempered: It’s not rare that Asfaer is to lose his temper and grow angry with those around him. Despite being extroverted, he has a short-fuse to be lit for those he cannot tolerate. This includes but is not limited to: people who do scorn him for being a mage, and the likes of that. It is an almost guaranteed trigger to Asfaer when someone claims his magic is Void-drawn.
    • Insecure: The Altalar is insecure about himself. He is constantly scared that others are judging him and he is not wearing, or performing his best. Due to this he often glances around making sure people are not watching him. Sadly this interferes with his social life quite often, making it harder to form relationships.
    • Malnourishmemt: over the last couple of years Asfear has been struggling to keep himself fair and healthy. No cosuming enough Off The vitamins he needs from only eating meats, seeing as e would never consume a plant, which is why this is bad. Asfaer is now commonly see with a cold or som minor illness that keeps him from doing much of anything properly.
    Life Story

Born in and hailing from the same community within Uven Delaris as Arlaen, Asfaer grew up in a strange and isolated town or city to speak, centered around one wind mill, the community was isolated by the natural trees bordering the edges of the wind mill city or town. What existed, and played an important role was that of the Zoraelth Cult, the small group of Evergrowth Mages who were almost second in command to the town council, and the same mages who raised the trees within mere months.

By the time of age 12 - Rafaeron, more so forcibly linked them both into studying Evergrowth Magic, Asfaer was secretly amazed at the magic, while he tried his best to present himself as unimpressed, even his father knew he lusted for such power. And so him and Arlaen began their studies and progressed religiously. The Aeraethsyr family had always practiced Evergrowth Magic, and kept it alive within their own home - until Rafaeron had met his wife within the community and settled down there, they simply continued the craft on. By the time they both had reached Mage they were considered “capable”, though most certainly their studies and practices did /not/ cease here, it was continued up until they were 42, and capable of raising Bark Giants in unison with each other. This skill has proved to be helpful in all aspects of life, offensively and defensively - save for Arlaen trying to be as passive as he can, Asfaer typically finds more benefit in being more aggressive towards others.

Though once they were exposed to adulthood. Around this time the duo had left the community and said their goodbyes, they had taken the voyage to Regalia in order to study and make observations on the Holy City, and hopefully learn more about Estale if they could. Now he additionally seeks for him and Arlaen to become the strongest Evergrowth Mages in existence, aspiring for the Expert status and beyond that - Archmage.

Many years have passes, As fast has been practicing till the world's end, to Void and back. Life without his brother has been fairly tough, Arkarns disappearance was sureal to As fast. Ever since then, As fast has pushed himself and over worked himself to reach the title of witch both him and Arleen wished to become. Expert magery in Evergrowth surely couldn't be accessible on your own, so As fast had quite a bit of trouble reaching it on till a fair group of Evergrowth mages approched him in his studies and offered to help him reach his goal.

    I am reviewing this sheet!

Dunno if being extroverted is neccesary to become an evergrowth mage. Remove that tidbit. Plants and animals are very different, try not to assume he's a great people person as well.

Be warned, it will take more than just his brother to raise a gaint, as the page states.

Add a personality based strength. He is far too magic and combat driven at the moment.

Add one more weakness of any sort.

Colour all changes in blue and tag me when you're done @Vahex

    Review In-Progress!
