"To the humble denizens of Regalia, the authorities of the realm, and to the Lord Commander,

When I heard word of the actions my former compatriots of the Ironspire Regiment - that charter which I'd founded under the authority given to me by the Lord Commander William Howlester, I found myself damn near sickened. To desecrate the honor of the Violet Order, as they'd done, to clearly violate and betray the trust of their superior, the Lord Commander, and to reduce the Regiment, which I vowed long ago would always serve Regalia and her people honorably, to nothing more than an upjumped band of mercenaries to be bought and sold by ambitious commoners… it is simply put, an injustice to Regalians, who place their very lives in the hands of the Violet Guard.

But I recalled then that I was not free of the stains of injustice, and I too had once betrayed the trust of the Lord Commander. When I held the same position the late Aurelius Krupp held yesterday, I was a dishonorable cur- but that me died in the fields of Lorhauser, and the man that returned to Regalia, while not free of his past brutalities, will never commit them again. And so it is with that sentiment that I make the vows following to the Lord Commander, and it is with the fibre of my spirit that I swear to uphold them until my death.

On the day of the twelfth of May, year 307AC, I, Rodrigo Peirgarten, do so swear to take to honorable service in the Violet Order. I swear to pledge myself to the Crown and Justice, and that I will defend both causes to the very last breath. I swear to remain loyal to my duties and never allow mine or my families personal agendas to interfere with the code of the guard. I swear that the rights which I am granted will be used always and only to enact justice in the name of the Violet Order and the Crown, and I swear that for as long as I don the armor and cloak of the Violet Order, law and order will always, undisputably, come before family and friendship.

I do so swear that this oath that I have taken will be upheld to the very last word, and I will never again disappoint the wishes of the Lord Commander, of my fellow comrades and guardsmen, and the wishes of the everwatchful Holy Spirit that gazes upon us.

With such, I also swear that I will wield an iron fist in weeding out the corruption inside the Ironspire Regiment, and all traitors to the Empire will be dishonorably discharged to suffer the consequences of their unjust acts by being branded for all eyes to see and all minds to know that these men have brought terrible shame to the Emperor's kindness. I have been formally reinstated as the Commander of the reformed Ironspire Regiment, and for as long as I serve, I will bear this oath of loyalty with me.

A reminder to all the citizens of Regalia that your schemes and plots and selfish deeds will always be illuminated by the light of the Spirit. Your dishonorable conduct and your selfish agendas will never go unseen. Do bear this reminder as a warning, the traitors of Krupp, the sniveling Vulmar, and the dishonorable men of certain families.

Justice and evidence will be restored in the grounds of the Ironspire Regiment and I, Rodrigo Peirgarten, swear to uphold my oath of loyalty for as long as my hand grips my blade.

Daedalus smiled and nodded lightly, almost approvingly. He chimed out in his mother tongue to his surrounding family members as they toyed with training blades. "That is a man I would follow."

Athos nodded to this, he would say to himself while gripping his his polelance, "Ironspire will not go down in corrupted flames. I do know, Commander Peirgarten will bring us back to glory."

Lleyv chuckled as he heard of this, he turned to the others in the room that he was in. He spoke to his followers and those who stand besides him holding his hand up almost mockingly. "I do so swear to take honorable service in the Violet Order." He then walked over to his desk sitting in the chair and putting his legs on the desk before unsheathing a dagger that he'd drive into the wood of the desk. "It's these fuckers that think they can do what they want, oppress the sewer dwellers and get away with it. What do you think about giving them a taste of their own medicine?" He looked out amongst the small gathering in his room and they all nodded.

Camilla read over the notice with a soft nod, perhaps in approval if anything as she strode off without another word, arms placed firm behind her back.
