needlessly long introduction incoming.

Hoi, my name is Arthur and I have been on and off with the massivecraft community for awhile, hence why my account's join date ranges back to 2019 (and I think I have been around even before that.) But due to my inexperience, inactivity and overall time spent on the server I am pretty much what you'd consider a newbie. I am still reading up on the lore but I may get alot of things wrong, I do apologize for that if it happens.

As for about when I last was on the server, I mostly spent my time roaming around awing at people's builds on factions and the roleplayers creativity with their characters on Regalia, and although I did a little bit of roleplay and befriending others myself, it was never enough for me to fully fit in with the community due to me having a pretty bad social anxiety and thus have trouble approaching people, especially after learning some can be bothered when randomly approached. So my experience with ingame roleplay is quite minimal to say the least.

However I do have quite a bit of experience when it comes to roleplay in general, I did plenty of text-based roleplays on different platforms dating all the way back to 2011, and been creating plenty of characters since then. I never gotten into MMORPGs and the only online games I roleplayed on was Garry's Mod (if you can even call the stuff on there roleplay) and Starbound. But as for tabletop games I have played plenty of DND, Call of Cthulhu and a small bit of Pathfinder. That's as far as my RP experience goes.

My hobbies include drawing, writing, making characters, making pixelart, listening to music, playing games, sometimes doing text-based roleplay on discord and other platforms, and as of recently writing lyrics and songs (I'm not very good at it, but it's something I wish to explore deeper with my new character). I also absolutely love looking at people's creations, be it writing, drawings, in game builds or character designs and backstory. (If you got any you'd like to show pls do gib pls and thank u)

The first character I used and tried to play as on here was a human named Armiler. A traveler who enjoys exploring and discovering places and abandoned ruins from the past. (Something I personally enjoyed doing on Essalonia). As for present day you might find me trying out my new character Muse, a wholesome short masked mute who communicates via writing, emotes and drawings. I am mostly looking to do some chilled out, relaxing and maybe even cute roleplays with them at first but might dive deeper into other things later once I adjust further to the lore and get used to the community, to which when I may also end up making a character application if it all goes well. I overall hope I'll get further into roleplay on here.

My timezone is based in Europe so you might see me on at very weird times, but if you do see me online please feel free to approach! Regardless whether we have talked before or not, the idea that there's people who want to talk to me or interact with my character is very comforting and helps against my social anxiety alot. (And don't be intimidated in approaching me, chances are I am probably more intimidated by approaching you myself.)

I truly hope that this time I'll be able to fit better into the community and that I get to interact with all those amazing characters and people I was too scared of approaching before. And that I'll get to see furthermore amazing creations that you people got to offer! Seriously, some of the stuff I see made on here is just straight up legendary compared to the stuff I make.

This was my introduction, I hope to see you all in game sometime soon!

Hey there, Arthur. I think I've seen you in game, but it's really good to see you introduce yourself here. Just from the small bit you've written up, I can see some really promising things from you if you dive in a bit more, so I look forward to that. The server can look really scary at first, but everyone is actually really friendly and welcoming. You've mentioned that you learned that some people get bothered when randomly approached, but I'd say it's a lot less sentimental than that. There's a common saying on the server that is told to new community members, and that is that it is better to be an overt extrovert than a quiet introvert, because you won't learn otherwise.

I know you've been around for a while, and so I am sure you've seen some interesting things. Feel free to come interact with me with your character or message me on discord at HeyitsNano#9599

I'd be happy to get you more involved and help you find a place that caters to you.

Heya! I seen you around quite a bit on here as well while I was writing my introduction, though not sure about in game, my memory isn't that great. It really makes me happy and also relieving that you think there's something to look forward to in me.

As for the common saying, it's probably very much true, but I natually am an introvert, it's difficult for me to approach others even when I truly want to. It took me a good half an hour staring at my introduction deciding whether or not I should even hit the post button after finishing it. My brain is really stupid like that.

But nonetheless I'll try to follow that saying and see how it goes for me. And thank you for the offer, I'll be sure to hit you up soon or have our character interact whenever that happens, it'll be alot easier for me now knowing you're alright with it!
