To The peerage, and Citizenry of Regalia, Following an intensive investigation on behalf of the Proconsular Government, the Trade Confederacy has uncovered a series of linked trade violations. These violations, along with other serious allegations, have compelled the Confederacy to suspend the business of the ‘Rose & Crown Tavern’ for the duration of Alvaro de Santigo’s trial. Henceforth, The Rose & Crown Tavern shall be officially closed, ceasing to distribute or sell its wares. Furthermore, any and all establishments owned by the House Santigo are to be closed, pending judgement by the State. The Trade Confederacy presents these charges as follows, with the necessary evidence presented to the Proconsular Government. Alvaro de Santigo slept with and coerced his servant/maid, Isra Kanaan. The Baron forced the woman to carry two tomes of Soul Magic, one written in Faraddi and clearly imported through smuggled means. The other a translated copy to Common, half-complete and detailing on the transference of Souls, reviving the dead, and usage of illegal and forbidden spells, alongside semi-legal spells. Alvaro de Santigo concealed, and attempted to hide, one vial of Hagaan Venom beneath the counter of his Tavern. During a State Sanctioned inspection of the ‘Rose and Crown’ this vial was discovered by a Witch Hunter, in search of contraband items in relation to the prior charge. Accompanied by the allegations of plotted assassination made within the Assembly Hall of the Grand Chancellery, the Confederacy considers this culpable evidence. Baron Alvaro is to report to the Chief Ombudsman of the Trade Confederacy, post-haste. A full statement will be taken, and presented by the Chief Ombudsman along with all evidence gathered in the Trade Investigation thus far, come the pending trial. Any violations of the Trade Confederacies verdict in regards to The Rose & Crown, will be dealt with in accordance to State Law. Álvaro, upon receiving the notice was sitting in the Rose and Crown, watching his various staff members tidy it after it was trashed the other day.
