Character Information
  • Full Name: Amos (Amothaar Caanthra Maïsra)
  • Race / Culture: Suvial (half-Maquixtl)
  • Age: 19
  • Gender / Pronouns: he/him
  • Occult: Godborn (Caan), Unionist God Mage
Core Concept
An egoistic, prankish Caan Godborn consigned and devoted to the Aelrrigan mission, presently a squire juggling his internal hindrances against the great expectation and privilege of his born station, with the disconnect from his family, culture, and history looming behind his growing Unionist faith.
Appearance Information
Amos, short for his age (especially for a Suvial), stands at 168cm (5ft 6in), bronze-golden tanned with sandy-copper hair. His most notable feature are his God-Sight Eyes, which are routinely covered for the better honing of his magical vision. It is rare to find him without some sort of a smile, whether sincere or mischievous.

Story
Amos, tetherless, has no connection to the Maïsra family, probably somewhere in central Agnevaal. Were it not for the guardianship of his late-grandfather Gïri, a family elder who for, it appears, practice of his abnormal Unionist beliefs left the Suvial lands for Corontium, Amos would have been parentless, as his father was the divine Burdened God Caan, and the boy has no recollection of his mother. It is to his grandfather's faithful credit that the boy was marked for the Aelrrigan Order rightly on account of his parentage. Gïri has not been present in his life, however, for several years now. In spite of family neglect, Amos has not been without social engagement; from his youngest days he was attributed a lion's share of private tutors and tours between the Aelrrigan Chapterhouses, and he has spent recent years at Stor Vardrhaug in formal study. His station by birth, the burden it placed on him, and, it seems, his grandfather's rigorous expectations are to credit for the early success the boy had, and perhaps to blame for his recent behavioral streak. Amos, although nearing graduation as a squire, has recently been transferred to Regalia from Blindheim for a variety of reasons unknown to him, though surely related to his diminished quality of training and his affiliation with the Arkenborn there, whereas in Regalia one might come into contact with more Godborn and better influences besides. The belief remains that Amos may simply be burnt out, but that, nevertheless, he will meet expectations. One thing is for certain—whatever responsibility the boy shirks, his devotion to the Aelrrigan Order is a familial one.
