You do realise that this is not going to work... In real life there has not been a moment of world peace since World War 2 and how is there supposed to be peace on Massivecraft when there is always going to be disagreements between people and factions?

I think people are taking this a little too seriously.
Yes we are Peace Keepers, and yes we are trying to maintain the peace. However, we are also having fun with this, something that will continue. So go ahead and be uber negative, but as long as we enjoy what we do, we are not going to stop.

I feel like it's somewhat anti-lore to form a group like this, primarily since this group seems to be just rising up and declaring that they have this peacekeeping ability. It would be kind of like, instead of the formation if the UN being a result of the end of WW2, a bunch of chums from various countries just decided that they were going to form the UN, and sort of declaring it themselves with no existing power.

I'm not trying to shut you down, but IMO if a group like this were ever to be formed, it would have to be by the order of the Regalian Emperor

hansington Still, if faction A declares war on faction B they must have a good reason. Say Faction A assassinated an ambassador from Faction B for no reason, that is a valid reason for war, then the two factions will want to resolve the mess on their own by overpowering eachother until surrender terms can be reached. I am fairly sure that the two factions can resolve the matter without pretty looking diplomats supervising.

Crug The Beast Except when various wars don't have much of a point except that faction A does not like faction B. Even then, if faction A assassinated someone in faction B there is still a peaceful resolution. Would you rather see a war continue for long ridiculous time that doesn't resolve for anything, or a quick and peaceful resolution? Because with your previous statement, it seems you are more down the war path and see diplomacy and peace as trivial when it comes to the blade.

The main problem with this is that basically every faction, including mine Algaron which is not known for being PVP hungry undiplomatic bandits would simply slaughter you on sight in a battle.

Everyone loved ganging up on Watchdogeditor. It was a great time to see peace keepers attempt to interfer with god-armored and god weapon people on a war field. xD

This may work, but please keep in mind that to a lot of people, faction war is quite fun and they enjoy sword duels and bow fire fights.

It might, it might not. The point is to have fun doing this. So far, I have had a blast.
It's not so much about stopping war, as for giving us something to do during a raid. For those who actually RP with it, the raid becomes really funny and entertaining for both parties. For those who don't RP with it, its still really funny and entertaining for us. So, for us its a win win regardless.
