Welcome back to Massive Theory, the serial where we analyse the world and lore of Massivecraft and separate the crème from the crop on what's fact and what's fiction. Last time, we looked at how Aloria, at least how it is shown in game, would be a deadly world to live on.
Ah Aloria. Fictional world on which Massivecraft takes place. Crafted carefully, with deep lore to bring the world to life. A land to escape reality. Or is it?
Could Aloria exist in reality? Does it exist? The answers to both of these questions are surprisingly, yes! It is completely plausible in the realms of science, and it is more unlikely for it to not exist then it is for it to.
You see, to explain this possibility, lets look at three things. The first the the Multiverse Theory. You have probably heard of this before. Multiverse not sounding familiar? How about parallel universes? You see, this theory states that there are many universes just like our own, but each one is slightly different. The changes are neglegable to drastic. There could be one that the universe never really did much of anything. There could be one where every planet has life. There could be one that you chose to put on yellow instead of pink underwear this morning. Everything that could happen has happened. For every moment, a different outcome For every word I have typed on this page, nay, every letter, there is one who has done so differently. One where I have made a typo, or used a different word or even a different language. Every miniscule little detail separates each universe further from each other. No two are exactly the same.
And who is to say Aloria couldn't exist in one of the universes? Aloria obeys the laws of physics. It has not created any impossible elements or compounds. No mixtures that I know of in the lore of Massivecraft would not be able to be put together without reacting. One thing early on would have lead to a nothing thing being different. Eventually, the atoms would have arranges themselves in such a way that they would create life. The life developed on the planet into fingercaps, maiar, trees, fish, tigran, and man.
The Multiverse is a pretty famous theory, and is fairly well accepted in the scientific community. However, there is another theory. You see, if the universe was about 1,000,000,000 times its current estimated size, it would be impossible for an exact copy of you to not exist. Every though ever thought. Vocabulary the same. Knowing every fact that you do. Having met the exact clones of everyone would had. And this is just going off the current estimated size. For all we know, it could already be that large. The chance for alien life is already 100℅, so Aloria is not that farfetched. As such, Aloria may not need scientific theories to exist. It may already exist in our factual world. And that was theory number three.
So, to recap, Aloria does exist out there. It is near impossible for something at least similar to not exist. So just remember, for everything you've done in roleplay (that's not incompliante with the lore) has happened, will happen, or maybe, just maybe, is happening right as you type it.
But hey! That's just a theory. A Massive Theory! Thanks for reading!
(Make sure to make suggestions for my next theory in the comments below)
