    Character Information
    • Full Name: Alisanne Marigold Margery Croy
    • Heritage / Culture: Cearden Ailor.
    • Age: 31.
    • Gender / Pronouns: Female, She/Her.
    • Occult: N/A

    Core Concept
Alisanne is the 10th Count(ess) of Eaton, the head of House Croy: A Cearden dynasty spanning back to the days of Old Ceardia. She is a morally grey politician, and fierce diplomat. Her acumen in politics, government, and philosophy carries her as one the eminent leaders of her day, and her apparently limitless ambition sees her involved in multiple walks of life.

    Appearance Information
Alisanne is a tall, poised woman, with dark, wavy black hair and piercing grey eyes. She has a pale complexion, and is lithe and graceful in physicality. However, she possesses a fair amount of athleticism, as an advent participant in all manner of sports, such as polo and tennis. She often dresses in exquisite, expensive Cearden gowns, typically in darker tones and colors.

    Combat Style
None, Alisanne does not fight nor participate in CRP.

    Hobbies and Talents
The only note of worth here is Alianne's affinity for athletic hobbies. Like many Ceardens, she is quite addicted to the sports of the upper-class. She fervently enjoys sport such as cricket, pall-mall, horseback riding, and hunting. Above all else, she absolutely adores polo, which keeps her the most fit out of all others combined. It results in very little prowess physically to write home about, but does mean at least she is physically fit and capable as a result.

    Life Story / Plot Hooks
    • Alisanne was born in his family’s lands, being the County of Eaton. Specifically, born in Harlech House, one of the Croy estates in the country. The first son to Lord Lyman Croy and his then-wife, Lady Anne Croy, she was born as Byron, originally male, and raised as a somewhat removed cousin in the family, as her father had no expectations of inheriting. She enjoyed a childhood of little responsibility and even fewer troubles, spending much time at court with her cousins, the sons of Count Carson Croy, her uncle.
    • Early in her years, Count Carson’s sons died, the elder ones at the front for the Chrysant War that the Count was fully partaking in, and the younger few died of a plague at home. This left Alisanne's father, Lord Lyman, the heir to all the Croy titles and lands. Alisanne was suddenly in a position of extreme importance, but also lost a great many childhood friends.
    • Alisanne's mother died, leaving her just with her father for a few years. She spent some time traveling with her father about the Empire, as Lyman was a court diplomat and Regalian ambassador. When her father inherited the title of Count Eaton, he remarried, to Alondra Anahera while Alisanne was around 13.
    • Alisanne would come to learn a lot from her stepmother, primarily more about politics and its more shady sides. She'd end up bonding very well with her, having lost her own mother so young, and came to see her to be about as much a mother as any stepmother can be.
    • When Alisanne came into her late teens, she would become more active in the political world at large, mostly on her father’s behalf. She had grown into a charming, handsome bachelor, as at the time she was still male-presenting, and was a great asset in relation-building amongst the other great Cearden houses. She also enjoyed a young adult life of partying and sporting, becoming a great polo player and constantly entertaining her friends at court.
    • As she was about halfway through her 20s, his father suddenly died, leaving her as the 10th Count Eaton. Unfortunately, her was father somewhat lax about his spending, leaving the family with more than a few debts to settle. With the help of the Dowager Countess Alondra, she was able to consolidate them, seeing them all either paid-off or forgiven through the use of some political leverage. It was not until 6 years after this did she decide to move to Regalia, and partake in the more important politics of the Empire.
    • Alisanne, as Byron during this time, conducted a variety of political and diplomatic victories in the city. Her biggest success was her triumph of the Agnevaal Treaty with the Suvial Princedoms, which catapulted her into extreme relevance.
    • At a point during her stay in the city, she decided on transitioning fully from male to female, taking the name Alisanne Croy as the Countess of Eaton, settling some life-long personal grievances and dysphoria.

    Update 4/13:

Character updated to reflect some new IC changes of gender presentation and identity, but also preparing the groundwork for some additional rewrites regarding her worldview and House Croy's.
