Archived Ability To Toggle Banners

I don't know if this is entirely possible with the way the forums are setup, but it would be nice to have the ability to hide the banners that appear under other people's posts and comments ( preferably based on user eg you can mute player X's banner but have others still display ) due to them being overly obnoxious and taking up a lot of space on the page.
