In light of the recent slew of notices put up stating opinions and requests for riots, this notice appears in only a couple places, more likely to be noticed in the underworld. Relatively short, but to the point.

To those against the guards ...

You are correct. The guards have done horrible things, and I cannot say how unnecessary many of them have been. I've spoken to a member of another guard, and there may be hope yet; despite working with the Inquisition, they fear the things it has done and doubt that it is doing the right things. As long as we can find more with this same stance, we have hope. Do not give up.

To those suffering from aberrancy against the guards ...

You are not alone in your stances against the various guards (especially the Inquisition) nor in your afflictions, and I stand with you. However, rising up against them will only end worse for us. We must go and hide. We cannot fight against them, as it will only pain us and break us, bringing their attention further to us. Please, for the sake of all of us, do not make yourselves a target that will further generalize our existence.

To those mundane with our stance ...

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I cannot express my thanks for your sympathy. It is rare to receive it, and I highly value your efforts. Please, help us from being further tortured, further oppressed, and help to allow us to live quiet lives in the sewers and in Crookback. We must all do what we can to survive.

To those who stand with the guards ...

Why?

Pinned beneath the notice were a few pencils and sheets of paper-- an invitation to speak one's mind.

"Anything you have called 'unnecessary' was likely the application of true Unionism. I support the guard of this city because it is my duty as an Ailor, and because I know what is right in my heart. Seethe aberrant." - Johannes Blumenfeld.

The young man left his reply, posting it below the note.

Written underneath:

There will always be those who are close-minded. I understand.

A fat dwarf would use the opportunity to reply
"I have seen what abberancy has done to my friends, how they have changed. I don't like guard either, but if it is choice between tyranny with whip or tyranny affecting my mind, I will try to remain as neutral as possible, but if there was not other way than to choose, whip does not forcefully change my mind"

Next to the original post would be a more neatly written letter.

To those who find Unionism offensive,

It has been the teachings, the principles, and the building blocks of the empire and Unionism to fight against illegal aberrancy at all costs. If Unionism disturbs you and sends you to hide rather than take heed, then you are a coward of the truth. The Holy Divine Inquisition exists to discipline the true doctrine to the people. If this invokes fear, distortion, or anger onto you, it is only more necessary for us to continue. This is not a matter of extremism but one of mitigation. If you are acting upon illegal aberrant standards, turn yourself into the Holy Divine Inquisition or the Arcanum. If your state is reparative, then do the same and accept the truth so that you can live freely.

Those who sympathize with Kathar, Sanguinism, Werebeastism, or any other afflictions must change. Surely, within time, things will change.

Oratorio Ode,
Alaric Keen
High Inquisitor

A small drawing of a Nelfin in a wolf mask has been drawn below with a thumbs up, with a small speech bubble leading just off it saying "Big mood." this is joined with an image of a small pile of dung with stink lines, with an arrow leading to the word "Inquisition" from it.

"The abberants that you choose to defend have a sickness of the body and of the mind. These people are offered a cure for this illness, and yet you fight against it. I trust that you would pay the mind to seek a cure for Allaine's Illness, or Slithering Maggots, yet you fail to do so for a more harmful disease. The activities of the guards are a necessary evil, for they must forcefully cure these afflictions, lest they infect more of the population. You are completely misguided in your beliefs, and I am afraid that you will not see that." would be pinned in a letter beneath, by an old dwarf.

.. "To those who find Unionism offensive" ..

A note was pinned up alongside this one, hand written neatly on crisp parchment paper, notably having a sketch of a silver circlet above a red and yellow colored Unionist Eye.

A reminder that your Church does not represent Unionism in its entirety, High Inquisitor. Unless deemed so by the Conclave, it would be borderline heresy to state all aberrants are the opposite of Unionism. Archbloods and their former Witchblood selves served the Sancella dutifully, and with the ascension of the Imperial Dragon into the forefront of our faith, it would be idiocy to simply decry every and all aberrant as anti-Unionism.

Aldebrand picked up the notice, reading over it quickly. This was at least the tenth one he had picked up in the last week.

"These aberrants sure love making threats from the safety of the nook. Then they squeal like pigs whenever we take action. Such weeds need to be dealt with."

He kept the notices close, making sure he held onto every single one.

Another neat note was pinned right beneath this one:

The Inquisition are, as High Inquisitor Keen has said, against Illegal Abberancy. In no part of their letter did he decree all forms of abberants anti-Unionists. The Divine Inquisition only enforces the Creeds and the Law. If you have concerns regarding the Inquisition and their lawful arrests of illegal abberants, do pen me a letter and I will clear things up. I suggest you read properly before you reply to these.

Prelate Albert Kreiburg
