A Tribute To The Past

Not so long ago, my character sat here, In the rain, talking to an old friend. We talked for a long time about the future. I still remember it well, It was an important point in my characters life. It changed everything. Today I thought back on how much Roleplaying affected me, and all the good and bad moments I've had during it. All the adventures and excitement, all the friends I made. I don't think I'll ever forget that, ever.​

I want to take a moment, to think back...back on everything that's happened. I always want to take time to look back on everything that has happened to you, your characters, things you'll never forget.​

I remember back when a character of mine died on this bridge,a bridge that has now been changed as this was back when Greygate existed. It saddened me and it was the first time I ever gave kill perms to anyone. It was one of the first experiences I've had that I so clearly remember.​

I remember back when the park was different, I remember all my walks through it. It's changed so much, like most things in regalia, it's changed with time. It is one thing I always remember and I will always think back on how it used to be.​

I remember all the friends I've made through Roleplay, one of them I met right here. He changed me and my characters life forever. I will never forget the day I met Taveric and Suji in the old Tavern. And to so many other's who I will never forget the time we have spent and the friendship we have created through Roleplay..

I remember old Regalia
like, realy Old Regalia.
It had a tiny tavern compared to the current one. It was there, aaaaal the way up on the roof, where i had my first RP fight.
Coinsidentaly that first fight was also the only fight that left one of my characters near death as i didn't know about killperms and such back then, not to mention they were totaly different too!

I remember the second floor, where i used to roleplay as a drunkard as Nathan Voss together with @Thaurdaer @Suzzie @NeroCadhar and @Rinus

I remember me with a couple of random people were on the chandelier of the oooold tavern and it broke and fell on the ground.

I peed myself and wondered if I grieved and panicked.

A while ago I made a post called "Massivecraft Nostalgia" which just consisted of me reflecting on my time on the server.

I have been here for four years now, almost four and a half. That's a lot of time. I've grown with this thing, I have spent hours upon hours goofing about with Joseph Marini finding different friends who often came and went. It's amazing how much I've developed alongside Massive. I can remember my noob days on the server and my cringe days, I think we all can.

A lot of memories have been shared here. When I first joined and Ceardia was the main rp world, I had no idea what to expect. Once I really got into rp and joined that crazy faction of Revolution, I knew I was hooked on it, I just didn't think I'd stick with it. I've met so many wonderful people here and I'm sure I'm going to meet more as I get used to the place again. Thanks Massive, for not shutting down or turning your back on the community. I hope this place lasts for a long time.

we ALL had those days... VERY VERY akward for us all. Then someone points out to you everything that's wrong with your character and you go:

Except the people who actually hate vampires. For them it's the days where they stockpile 14 bottles of holy water in your 'cloak' and call it lore complaint. Or when you think not lore complaint means lore complaint. But what I find amusing is MonMarty said that teenaged vampires are to generally be avoided and then nearly every vampire on the server is a teenager that probably plans on becoming edgy. But not all, there are actually vampires who actually outsmart everyone else without arguing about lore. Unless the person they were arguing with was a noob.

@CptSilvyrall Yes it was and tbh I almost want to forget it cause it was lead to me getting the lovely name of power gamer. Now I understand how I got it and what I did wrong, cause I never would say attempt or along those lines because I thought people new that I was attempting but in light they did not so I had that lovely title and probably stilll do xD but I fixed that shite and make sure im clear when saying things now. But that doesn't matter cause when people seen you as one theyof will always treat you like one ;p

I should of thought how much I'd be spending, how noisy I would of been, and how slow I'd be... And how much I'd have to emote that in chat.


Though as far as you powergaming goes, the obscurra is kind of hard to avoid or prevent.

I remember old Massive... I just barely managed to get to be a Vampire, wrote an entire book about my character's plans to take down the Viridian Order (I believe they were called? It was like 4 years ago, don't mind me.), and used the town Spawn as my home base. I believe that book actually started a full server war once.... Good times.

UPDATE: Wait.... Wasn't there a Library at one point? I think I had like 20+ battles there. xD

An RP hub in an actual survival world with faction plots maintained by players, huge 50 man factions that were active and you basically had to buy premium to consistently get in on the weekends. The forum was always full of war and alliance threads along with RP ones. The Daily Creeper was always reporting on the newest events happening in the survival worlds (FHFDoom cannon, eh). Races - Maiars, Undead, etc. Good to think of the REALLY old memories
