Announcing the "Holy Synod Charitable Works"
In thought of the current strained climate of the archipelago, the Holy Synod and the Collective Conclave would formally announce the creation and development of the "Holy Synod Charitable Works", an organization consisting of faithful denizens whose duty would be to arrange and deliver monthly charitable events to the Commons and Nobles of the Holy City.
These charitable events can vary from soup kitchen events, distribution of fur clothing and cloaks in preparation for the coming winter, fun-fair festivities and many various types of charity focused gatherings, while also offering speeches from the High Reverend to reach out to the public and open prayers from the Synod Reverends in order to create a connection between the citizenry of Regalia and our revered Holy Organization.
These events would be sponsored directly by the High Reverend and the Clergymen of the Synod, and hosted under the name of our Holy Church. The administration of the Charitable Works would be the creation of an Administrative Collective, consisting of able minded men and women dedicated to our intent. For more information, see below.
Our Missive:
- To improve the reputation of the Holy Synod in the eyes of the commoner and the peerage, and create a healthy relationship between the Church and the Citizens of the Holy City.
- To tend to the ill, needy and poor of our denizens through our charitable works; to offer food for the starved and to offer shelter for the homeless. To put the coffers of the Church to use for the aid of the helpless.
- To formulate sponsorships with the other Charitable Organizations of Regalia, and create conjoined events and gatherings to improve the wellbeing and morale of the Regalian people.
- To provide our support in improving the food famine situation of the Holy City and offer our limited amount of food for those who risk death from famine, and provide a helping hand for the Organizations working for the betterment of the climate.
The Administration of the "Holy Synod Charitable Works"
In order to provide proper control for the establishment of the Holy Synod Charitable Works, the Synod would bring forward an Administrative Collective consisting of invididuals with a capable mind for the arrangement and creation of charitable events. In order to be part of the Administrative Collective of the Charitable Works, one would have to apply directly to the Church and receive approval of the High Reverend, and thus become a public sponsor of the Holy Synod.
The duties of the Administrative Collective would be as follows:
- To maintain the formation and activity of the Holy Synod Charitable Works.
- To bring able men and women into our cause to aid in our missive.
- To organize charitable events to the public of Regalia in the name of the Church.
Those interested in supporting the ventures of the Synod by becoming part of the Administrative Collective, either of common or noble birth, are expected to pen a letter to the Manager of the Administrative Collective Amelina Peirgarten, and through her, receive the approval of the High Reverend before beginning service.
