A Rp Idea For Making The Sphynx Bloodline (tigran Vampires) More Interesting.

Would Sphynx "Prides" be a cool thing to see in Role play?

Hey everyone, Tra_kad here.
I literally discovered about 45 minutes ago that Vampire Tigrans are now a thing, and I'm very seriously considering making a Spynx Tigran now. However, as I was reading this, some thoughts came to mind like "What if two Spynx's "Select" the same person?" And "What if a Spynx "Selects" a Tigran, who later becomes a Sphynx?" So, I came up with a idea for RP that would not only make these creatures more formidable, but downright terrifying. An idea that would make sense for large predator creatures related to large cats. This little idea is simple. A "Pride" or "Pack" of Sphynx's that either all selected a Tigran that became a Spynx, or they all chose a human.
How I imagine it working is in a sort of Heriarchy, in one with a human in charge, the leadership would go like so:
The Selected: He has the power to influence any of the Sphynx, but has a better connection with the "Alpha Sphynx"
Alpha Sphynx: The Sphynx that choose the "Selected" the first out of any of the Sphynx, OR a Sphynx that defeated the past Alpha in combat OR a "Beta Spynx" replacing it after it dies, this one has the most influence over all the Sphynx, but mainly obeys the Selected.
Beta Spynx: A Sphinx that was either second to choose the Selected OR was the first turned Tigran by the Alpha, is basically the enforcer of the rest and keeps the other Sphynxes in check. If it kills the Alpha or the Alpha dies in combat, it would replace the Alpha and "make" a new Beta.
Epsilon Spynxes (Brutes): The rest of the lot, they take orders from the Beta or the Alpha, but are usually too dumb to understand the Selected.

If the human died, or the Selected was a Tigran who later changed, the pack would (After making the Tigran who changed a Alpha) either choose a new selected, OR create a "Wild Pride", which is basically the same thing EXCEPT the Alpha Tigran also becomes "Selected" by the rest. These prides usually live out in the wilderness and hunt any foolish thing that comes into their lands, and for RP purposes, A pride on the average would be about 5-8 Spynxes large, however they have the ability to get much bigger.

This is only a concept that I just thought up of, and I won't be surprised if there's some RP reason that this would not work. If it somehow does get accepted and makes it onto the Wiki, I wouldn't know what to do with myself. But, that's all for now, feel free to comment and what-not.

Not sure about this, actually. It could be a little hard to find people for this, especially in Regalia. Also, I think Sphynx Tigrans are supposed to be more like a... bodyguard/servant vampire type, rather than a tribe like Fahlein are.

You should still totally play a Sphynx though. I want to see Ryu as one :3

I like Sphynxs how they are, the only things stoping me from being one is. Getting a hairless skin. (Could be hard to do properly) and finding someone I RP with often who would suit being selected.

The Sphynx wiki thread states that an infected Tigran could possibly kill the parents of the Selected due to favoritism and jealousy. I feel like this could easily apply, and all these Tigran could not bear to share The Selected with so many other Tigran.

With the non-wild prides, it would still be all the Sphinxes protecting the one lad, it's just they do it as one unit instead of just one Sphynx Tigran. I do agree it would be hard to get together in RP but I can imagine some poor sap having to deal with a Selected, and he just sends out about 8 of these buggers, all surrounding him. Plus I mean the Wild Prides to be quite rare, and normally when a Selected dies the Sphynxes go their own way, choosing some other lad. Plus if a Wild Pride did happen, there would probably be guard raids on it to kill it off, making it even rarer of a occurrence as seeing that they all usually die or something. (If this idea got going in RP, of course)

Yeeeaaaahhhh, I thought of that too, that's partly why I kept the number down to a average of 5-8 because any bigger, and the entire pride would probably wind up killing itself over the Selected. However with about 5 of 'em, there could still be sort of rivalry in the pride, but the Alpha and possibly the Beta could keep them in check by fighting them off, making them an example.
(Again I highly doubt that this will actually become a RP thing, I just thought it would be a more unique thing for the Sphynxes to have, make them have a bit more of a reputation then the other vampires and a way to entice RPers to become one)

I think the point of the bloodline is that they become like domestic cats. Losing their more wild instincts and becoming pets to other vampires.

A lot of the Non-Ailor bloodlines seem to cause the infected to go against their culture. The Kydaer develop a taste for Yanar blood, the Bloodowers become selfish and vain, the Woushou lose their instincts, the Maleir hide from the sun, and the Mekephit lose their altruism.

@Tra_kad

Essentially the idea of Vampirism, in the end, is that it is still a disease that at its core was created to make races weaker (not by Staff, but by Wutienda). Also, due to the issue of jealousy, Sphynxes would not be able to all select the same person and still live, as very quickly Sphynxes would kill each other to try and gain the favor of their Selected.
