A Thesis find its way around the sewers of Regalia, mostly distributed on a couple hand-written pamphlets left in corners and the Wraith. Their numbers are small, though the lettering pristine and the signature accompanied with the sign of the unionist eye with black ink and radiating crimson rays.
Shadow and light. Life and death. Moon and Sun. Cold and warmth. Aloria is a world of duality, made up of opposing powers and ideas each creating a spectrum on which our perception finds our reality. If this axiom is accepted, there is one visible exception most Ailor will refer to: the Spirit. For the Spirit, according to the Creeds, has neither counterpart nor counterbalance. It should be the ultimate power of good, to which the counterbalance and counter part disappears when paradise is attained.
What a folly.
Unionist belief in the obtainment of paradise assumes that its counterpart can be eliminated. It is the thought that warmth can exist without cold, or that light can exist without shadows, or life without death (in fact, the Creeds are very much assertive over the lattermost).
Truly, however, it is assured that our fate is headed towards a specific direction, which I shall be describing later. To understand this direction, we must first address the true counter-part of the Imperial Spirit. This entity has carried multiple names in the past: Arch-Demon, Anti-Spirit, Devil, Evil, Void and so on.
I shall be defining this entity as Spiritus Penultimatum, or short, Anti-Spirit.
The nature of the Anti-Spirit is bound to be the opposite of the Imperial Spirit, as it stands as a counter-part, a counter-balance in Aloria to it. The average person will first find this thought dreadful, in due time however, they will learn to know that chaos is merely a synonym for freedom, and that it is this liberty which is encapsulated within the Anti-Spirit.
The Spirit represents Order; its succession is bound by order (its rigorous trail over a not-so-talked-about matrilineal descent), its goal is to establish order, unison. The very religion built around it carries a name almost similar to Order. Thus, the Anti-Spirit will represent chaos and liberty, a succession wholly independent of pre-defined rules and bound by convenience and a goal to establish chaos and freedom.
Order is bound by control, whereas liberty is bound by individualism. Thus the Anti-Spirit represents a counter-thesis of personal achievement, of merit. It is thus my firm belief that while the Imperial Spirit manifests only in the select few Emperors of a corrupt empire, the Anti-Spirit will manifest irregularly between all those who truly embrace freedom, all those who embrace its liberties and all those who desire its power with an open heart.
Power, for the Imperial Spirit stands in opposition to power, to force. Its Order persecutes magic, the supernatural, the world's gifts to the individual. The Anti-Spirit, moulded by the void over the mundane, infuses its followers with powers previously unheard. For those not in the know, followers of the void can shape their bodies, can attain immortality and can cause the very elements to assail their foes.
The Eternal Peace
It is here where we conclude the ultimate goal in our world, pertaining not only a certain Ailordom or Humanum but all living, moving beings alike. True peace is not attained by sniffing out one counterpart over the other, for that only disturbs a careful equilibrium that has been maintained.
True, Eternal Peace is attained by mutual destruction of both counterparts. Rid ourselves of the cold but also of the warmth, for what we seek to destroy is temperature. In the ultimate end, the Spirit merges with the Anti-Spirit and the world's destruction is assured, thus ensuring eternal peace and an end to all suffering (and hence my naming of our deity the Spiritus Penultimatum).
The Path of the Voidwalker
The very essence of our void- and liberty-worshiping kind is a respect for individualism and freedom, which is why I cannot and will never define a "proper path" to follow. However, certain principles should always serve as guidelines lest the false reverends extend their Order into our corners of society and make use of our liberty to transform it into infighting, enslaving us under their teachings without us knowing.
Those walking the path of the void should entertain personal growth of power over anything else. They should oppose Order and the Regalian Empire, as they themselves are the very counterbalance to the armies of thousands that march to slaughter themselves in the name of the Spirit. They should seek not to impede on each others' trail for the same reason.
The above principles remain guiding, whereas the below may be entertained as ways to further one's personal growth. Unionism enforces regular reflection (confession) on one's disobedience of Order. Thus it would be logical for followers of the Anti-Spirit to allow similar reflections on disobedience to Order (taking pride in it), and consultations over furthering personal growth. Have these shadowy confessions remain positive, and the Anti-Bishop taking them serve a reinforcing, guiding role over a chastising, punishing one.
On the topic of the Unionist mass, it should be promoted to hold and attend regular Black Masses where the pleasures obtained through freedom can be enjoyed, and where the present community can freely discuss and agree upon their next acts in service to the Anti-Spirit.
Let these thoughts guide you, children of the void, for the next while. Those who seek me will be able to find me in the Crown City for guidance, reflection and discourse.

The Dark Father, Reverend von Katz
