A notice would be pinned for all to read, from New Town to Old Town, and a couple accidentally dropped into the canals found their way to the sewer. George was definitely fired for that one. Dropped a whole damn stack in. What an absolute doughnut.

From the desk of the Common's Secretary,

To ease and shake up the monotony of the Common's Meetings, we have devised a new idea to involve you, the common folk, in the assembly itself. Instead of constantly meeting in the assembly hall, grand as it is, we are testing a few assemblies to be hosted by various groups and districts around the city instead. If you wish to host a Common's Meeting, there are a few requirements:
  • The area must be suitable to host, at minimum, thirty people.
  • The area must be on the surface within the city or on the very outskirts, with the exception of noble countryside estates.
  • A stand must be present, as must a seating area for the State Representatives.
  • Rose Court is off limits, and no assembly will be held there.
Any interested parties, noble or commoner, may pen a letter to the Secretary of the Commons, Kaya Viduggla, at earliest convenience to arrange a time for the meeting to be held.

In addition to hosting the assembly, the district or group hosting the assembly will have an additional period of 30 minutes at the beginning of the assembly at their disposal for cultural displays, demonstrations, celebrations, or otherwise to show support of the assembly. Possible rewards may be granted by the Secretariat if they deem a district a generous host.

OOC:

This is it, folks, your chance to have the Common's Meeting right outside your door.

The requirements are both IC and OOC. It must be able to hold a potentially large group of people.

Both commoners and nobility alike can sign up to host, and we will try to get to everyone. PM me, AlphaInsomnia, with a weekday you would be able to host and show off your district pride, and support of the government. We'll try to accommodate any odd schedules.

Potential prizes/rewards.

For setting up your area, we will always add a week's time, minimum, between approval and the actual hosting, so that World Staff may set up the area for you if you need.

All approved meeting locations and times will be posted under the "Special Hosting" section on the Common's Meeting page.

Happy hosting!
