Alexander Kade.

Lord Alexander Kade, the Synod finds, was the first Emperor to fulfil the utmost and absolute duty and Spiritual mandate that the Spirit required of his reign, prior to his death. A unique position, as, all previous Emperors had found their mortal bodies to be expired before the full extent of their use could be accomplished by the guiding hand of the Spirit. Such piety, ability, and levels of supreme virtue ensured that the Spirit in its all-knowing wisdom guided all it could wish and want for under Alexander's reign while allowing a reprieve from the heavy responsibility of serving as the vessel of our blessed Imperial Spirit and rulership.

Indeed, it was Emperor Alexander I, who through divine providence summoned the Spirit's omnipotence to surround Regalia with the hallowed shield (A glowing bubble of purple protection, bursting with spirituality, that which acted as a bulwark against the Bone-Horror crisis). Such a miracle on such an expansive scale had never been seen prior, often taking more elusive forms. Yet, none could deny the sheer power of the Spirit that day, nor could they deny the sheer piety of our Emperor. It is said, even the Vultaro Heretics, who had once shunned Alexander and called him 'False Emperor' shivered at the sight of the glorious beam that which lit the sky in Imperial Purple. Nay, not even the cryptic men of Diviner Cult could withstand the blessed influence of our Emperor and the Spirit which divined him so.

Hereby, in honour of Lord Alexander, and his unique place among the Emperors of yonder days, we the Synod do declare him thus:

  • Alexander, Living Heron of The Shield. For his protection of our homeland from horrors and monsters, for his continued piety even after the Spirit's passing from his body, and, his illumination over all that is codified within the Regalian Empire.
  • Alexander through virtue of his past deeds and protection by the Spirit is considered hallowed by the Synod. To defame his name, accuse him of falsehoods, aggravate the Heron by means of vile vulgarities or knavish insults, strike the Heron with anger or intent to harm, shun the past miracles of the Heron and name them as conjecture, or deny the Heron lodging and food, shall be a High Heresy in the eyes of the Synod.
These motions are hence confirmed by the Synod of the Sancella of Union and take effect Theologically in the immediacy of publishment. The Spirit divines these truths sacred, and to deny them is to deny its hallowed being.

Cedric Kade.

Lord Cedric Kade, the Synod finds, much like his brother and predecessor Alexander Kade, fulfilled all that was required of him by the Spirit within the timeframe of his life, allowing him to reprieve from the responsibilities of rulership and vesselhood. In addition, he too has accomplished miracles never before granted with benevolence to us the faithful, and as such retains sacred status by the Synod.

Lord Cedric Kade was the first among his line to be blessed with 'Hallowed Dragon Blood', a state of being in which the spirituality of the Unionist Dragon was infused within him as a gift by the Spirit, to fight his enemies from the heavens. For, it is Holy Theomar who predicted in his visions this very moment, for which Cedromar would take the wings of the great Dragon:

"and so too shall we take to the skies and conquer anything that can be seen and even that which cannot be seen." - 'Theomar the Holy, the Third Creed of Union'

Though it did not become apparent to those of mortal bearing, Theomar I prophecised this moment as he was engulfed by Spiritual power. By the Synod's contemplation, Cedromar I was the very cornerstone of this prediction, and thus he holds the skies for the Greater Humanum, to be controlled and conquered by Unionism and Faith. Cedromar and those born of him shall become the very heavens above us, protecting us from the eternal darkness which seeks to inhabit our skies and clouds. He is blessed by the Spirit with the form he takes, and veneration shall still be owed to him for the remaining days of his life.

Yet, Cedromar's miracles do not end here. Upon the last day of his rule, Cedromar conducted a moment that will forever shift the boundaries of Unionism. Indeed, it was he who brought Union to its second stage and released the Spirit from his body to exist within the eternal realms of paradise, projecting its will and power down upon us, rather than through an Emperor. Preface.


Under the watchful administration of His High Holiness, Volckamar III, Blessed be His Name, this Synod should be endowed to adjust the Synodical Laws in order to better facilitate the Unionist Faith. In order to better safeguard our religious pretexts and morals, as well as the body and soul of every Unionist Faithful, the following has been proposed: The creation of three new Synodical Laws. These additions encompass restrictions and rules that should and will be properly enforced, facilitated, and endorsed by our official guidelines. Ranging in subject from protections against Holy Ground desecration, blasphemy, heresy, and subjection to unholy aberrations and afflictions, these new laws will provide further mortar which to strengthen our Faith's fortitude with.

Synodical Law Additions.

I. Addendum to Synod Law II:
'Religious denunciation is separate from civil judgement in these matters, and religious compensation is also a separate matter.' Sinful behaviour is to be religiously compensated at the behest of the Synod, as determined by the Lord Inquisitor and the Canonical Court.

II. To the Unionist Synod, to defile the sanctity of holy ground (such as Chapels, Temples, Cathedrals, Monasteries, or sights of officiated pilgrimage) with vulgarities is strictly heretical. Desecration or defilement of holy ground can be defined via the following: to perform acts of a sensual or sexual nature upon oneself or another within the confines of a holy ground, to invoke or act in violence within the confines of holy ground spilling blood or doing harm, to seize and by force of numbers, and strength remove an individual from Temple of Union, to speak words of in threat or insult within the confines of holy ground. The following acts will be punished by the Synod according to the discretion of its Lord Inquisitor, and the internal Canonical Court.

III. To the Unionist Synod, to subvert, convert from, blaspheme or deny the Unionist faith is strictly heretical. Subverting the Unionist Faith can be defined as undermining the hierarchy of the Unionist Divine and undermining the Regalian State & its hegemony. The following acts will be punished by the Synod according to the discretion of its Lord Inquisitor, and the internal Canonical Court.

IV. In the matters of the body, mind, and eternal soul, to subject oneself to the various afflictions, aberrations, and diseases of the world, is strictly prohibited and heresy of the basest form. A Unionist cannot be part of the faithful if he/she is participating in: Vampirism, Magic, Undeadism, Demonism, Possession, and alternative aberrations at the discretion of the Synod's interpretation. Equally so, it is inherently against the nature of the world, and the Spirit's wishes, to assist any of the above parties, as participation with such corrupts the soul by association.

I thought only the Etosian Synod could declare living Herons.
You thought wrong. The Synod inherited the religious prerogative of the Emperor in the Ascension of Unionism, which is still somewhat overlooked by Lore Staff intervention if it goes wrong, but essentially the Synod now decides the only and final interpretation of the Spirit's will.
