The Inquisition joins the Divine Militia
Through joint will and command, his Most Holiness Volckamar III | Leufroy d'Goss | and Lord Inquisitor Abelhard Rote do deem it so fitting, that the Holy Inquisition of Leomar joins its fellow Orders of the faith under the authority of the Divine Militia. The Inquisition has long been loyal to the faith and the Synod, though, has operated separately from the Divine Militia of the faith (the combined military and marshal orders of the Synod, such as The Helerian Guard, Hallowed Knights, Blade Song Warriors, etcetera..)

Lord Inquisitor Rote therefore in cooperation with His Most Holiness, Reverend-Minister of War Ludevar, and Reverend-Minister of State Médard, declares the Inquisition of Holy Leomar officially from this day forward an entity of the Divine Militia. With all rights and privileges associated with an organisation of Synodical Authority. May the Inquisition work hand in hand with the Reverend Fathers of the Synod, to destroy the Vampiric menace, to enlighten those lost from the faith, and to spread the will of the Spirit in these lands and beyond.

The implications of this motion mean the following: The Synod and the Inquisition will be joined beneath the Sancella of Union, and no longer separate from one another. The Faith puts its full and unwavering support in favour of Lord Rote, and his tenure over the Inquisition. Any man who deems to undermine the Synod's blessed choice of Lord Inquisitor shall be punished by its Inquisitors - coups and political backstabbing will not be tolerated.

The Inquisition of Leomar will continue to abide by the State Council's verdicts on State Law, and secular matters involving their running.

The Ordination of Abelhard Rote
In lieu of this, Lord Inquisitor Rote has decided to dedicate the further years of his life to the blessed Sancella of Union, and its One True Faith. Lord Rote will henceforth be known as Brother Rote, Curate of the Synod, Lord Inquisitor of the Inquisition of Leomar. Furthermore, he will be permitted a non-voting seat upon the Sancella, as all Curates are entitled to do, after a Synodical Vote.

With this news, we further decree: future Lord Inquisitors of the Inquisition of Leomar shall be ordained men of the faith, and not from secular stock. Any man who wishes to lead the Inquisition forward must, will, and will always from this day be a man of the cloth, be it Curate or Reverend. To ensure proper function and accurate readings of Holy Canon Law.

Council of the Divine Militia

To better allow proper function of the Divine Militia, the Synod decrees the following: that a Council of the Divine Militia is established, headed by the Reverend-Minister of War. The Council will be tasked with communication between Orders of the Divine Militia, appropriating proper punishment for unorderly warriors of the faith, and communicating with each other for maximum efficiency.

Upon this Council will sit, the Reverend-Minister of War, the High Reverend, the Lord Inquisitor, the Helerian Commander, and the Grandmaster of the Hallowed Blood Order. These individuals are tasked with the officiating of the Synod's marshal assets.

The Church and State

High Reverend Volckamar III upon his synodical mandate made it clear, that the Synod and Sancella as a whole shall be devoid of Secular influence - a Church for the faithful, and only the faithful. A church whose mandates and operations were of solely spiritual nature. In concordance with the High Reverend's bolstering of Synod Authority and removal of secular sway, the following is announced:

The Church and State shall work for hand in hand, for the better interest of the Divine Union, which remains and always will remain the primary mission of both entities. Though, never the two shall invade upon one another's realm of dominion. The Sancella hopes that the Supreme Chancellor will take this matter in good faith, and respond equally in amicable attitude. While the church in no way serves the State, it most certainly prays for its success, always, until a day in which tyranny reigns, as it did among the Chancellery of the dreaded Anahera.

All Unionist Citizens of the Empire are children of the Sancella and it's Synod, and their spiritual lives and affairs are sacred to the Synod, as too are their secular matters important to the State. For all intensive purposes, each and every Unionist of good standing is both a citizen of Regalia and a protected child of Union - from the smallest of Serf to the highest of Noblemen. This respected fact will be held dear by the Synod, and we too wish this from the Regalian State, to respect its Unionist citizens.

His Holiness Lord Inquisitor Abelhard Rote sits in his office chair with a smile on his face, he plays with the ring Father Médard has gifted him. Clasping his hands together he rubs them as his meal approaches him from the fireplace: Celebratory beef brisket.

He eats his first meal as a member of the Sancella.

Reverend Father Jon Calvin Byron claps his hands together in fervor at the notice, noting this new friendship as a point of preaching for his next brimstone laden sermon.
