This missive seeks to stand apart from the flurry of denunciations that have recently circulated, I will make no public rebukes, performative scolds, or undue lamentations. Moreover as I hold no inclination toward renouncing my Unionist faith at present or in the future, I certainly will not be extending this uncharitable behavior to our honorable Celates who acted upon their duty to our faith. ═════════════════════ °✧⟐✧° ═════════════════════
Accordingly,
House Altagracia officially announces departure from the Neo-Hiltfrontist Lobby.
House Altagracia officially announces departure from the Neo-Hiltfrontist Lobby.
My role within as "Director of Policy" was largely decorative, as my political concerns in recent lobby forums were met with platitudes of success yet dismissed without real consideration. This was voiced by earlier detractors yet still I remained within the party in the hopes that with the abject failure of our most recent Assembly, internal change would soon follow. I've no doubt some may call this departure ego-driven or impulsive, and they are entitled to that view, but what truly led me to this choice was the conclusion reached at the Inquest. I have no intention of further scrutinizing those already subjected to public censure, nor do I seek to further expound on a matter already misinterpreted and overlooked by many across Unionist and non-Unionist circles alike. While I have no issue with those still within the party, especially those who are not Unionist faithful, I cannot in good faith remain amongst the ranks if there is no change.
The priority I hold now, and hope others adopt, is preserving momentum for the current Kathar cause. Many individuals and Noble Houses unified under the Neo-Hiltfrontist Lobby now face the risk of their Commendations being tainted by association. If any of my former Lobby-peers truly stand behind the Kathar it would be prudent to either equally distance themselves or collectively call for a restructuring of leadership from within, as complete inaction would be irresponsible and the meticulously sought out letters will have been for naught.
Signed, Francisca Ines Isabel de las Casas de Escalón y Altagracia
Countess of Marchena
