Winter has come at the dawn of spring. In times of warmth, rebirth and new life, our people have been met with the frigid hostilities of Houses Harhold and du Pont. These wretched families have turned their backs on the people by invading and occupying the Peirgarten lands for no sense but personal gain. The blood pumping through the veins of these barbaric houses has been poisoned with corruptions of greed and lust for power. Thanks to their selfishness, brothers have been torn from brothers, sisters have been torn from sisters, and mothers have been torn from their children.

Regalia is fighting a war. Instead of uniting to defeat a common enemy, these tyrannical houses choose instead to forward their own agenda by occupying the lands of Lorhauser and terrorizing the citizens of Regalia. House Harhold has the infamous reputation of answering to petty problems with extreme violence and plaguing the streets of Regalia with fear. They have torn men apart with the might of their bloodhounds, beat the innocent to near death, and betrayed the one true faith.

House du Pont, an integral part of the church, has committed deeds most sinful. Their hand in occupying Peirgarten terrain betrays the faith that they are meant to uphold. Rather than serve the Imperial Spirit, House du Pont would prefer to serve themselves. Not even a week before they storm our lands they sit in our home and speak ill of house Ravenstad and their previous occupation of our lands, yet they turn their backs to make the same greedy Their actions are selfish and unholy. As these monsters prey on the innocent, we pray that they will once again find their way with the spirit and return to the pious life of true Unionism.

To the noble houses of Regalia: Do you bend your knee to those who would betray you for their own gain? Do you submit to those who triumph by the spreading of fear and unrest? Do you bow to those who have time and time again proven to the world that they would commit the most treacherous of crimes if it meant more power for them? Do you?

To Houses Harhold and du Pont - You can occupy our lands and torment its leaders, but consider this the day that your actions will no longer lurk in the shadows. Regardless of what happens, we put our trust in the Imperial Spirit to guide us forward. We shall pray that you learn the error of your ways and choose faith over hypocrisy. That you will return to the virtuous path laid out for us by the spirit and part with the tyrannical actions you have thrust upon the people. And should you not do these things - we pray that you accept the consequences with open arms.

To the common men and women of Lorhauser and the entirety of Brissaud: House Peirgarten stands with you against these houses of infamy and greed. The Imperial Spirit will guide us through these difficult days as it has since the dawn of time. Stand tall in the face of hardships and do not lose faith. When you despair, remember that there have been tyrants throughout all of history - but in the end, they always fall.

Winter always ends with Spring.

"They stand with their people, yet do not have the common sense t' bend the knee an' spare 'em of starvation an' occupation. The second phase, Lord Edmond?" Hengest scoffs, offering the basket of steaming fresh bread over the dinner table to the Du Ponts.

@Fatherland @AptlyRatley

Gallus Tyrannian smiled, "Accusing the High Reverend's family of heresy." He turned to Enzo Celso, "I have to admit, I was not expecting that, of all things."
@Nitesho

Marissa Morgann was somewhat torn between, with her friends on one side, and liege on the other, she was forced towards a decision.

"Aye, this is a right fuckup of a situation innit?" She spoke to her sister.

Merril took a sip of her whiskey as she heard about the denouncement from rumormongers and gossipers. She sighed, shaking her head.

"I bet 50 regals that at least one person ends up getting stabbed 'cause of this. This won't end well at all."

Leon claudio looks at the notice, he tilts his head before crossing his hands on his chest "One problem let to another...that is the Regalian way.."

Zas'kince the shendar just thought this was amusing, yet made him think of stuff. "An empire that is usually always in war twenty four seven, that has noble houses and people that is not unified," he'd think to himself, he was annoyed by this big time.

Bjarke Hadraga the velheim just grumbled at this bit of announcements.

Marie Peirgarten sat with her kin at the dinner table, raising a tea cup to her lips to sip at,

" This is something all should be aware of, the Spirit will guide is through this hardship no matter the result of the denouncement."

@seoulmate @Jareth @WildRoze @Plutopup @_Owlet

He couldn't stop laughing as Gallus read it out to him. The sigg that was in his hand ended up somehow back in his mouth.
"Oh re-read it, re-read it please! The part of with the whole, 'choose faith over hypocrisy' part!"

The laughter continued until the sigg went out of his mouth onto the floor with Enzo sighing as he smushed it.
@Aespair

Audrey read the announcement with her sunglasses settled to the side. The waning sun illuminated the priscelle penthouse and cast a shadow of the chuckling Ithanian on the wall as she turned to face her deaf cat.

"Truth is always revealed and time will prove everyone right. Had they aligned with the enemy of their enemies instead of poking at them, they would have a coalition army protecting them."

She exhaled a sigh, then shook her head and settled the communication to the side.

"A second chance, perhaps? A kin of the homeland still."

Ivonne read over the report with a long, disbelieved sigh in the quiet air of one of Eleng's many lounges. Any present Ravenstad could hear her comment aloud after scanning the paper over.
"It's a shame they associate us with being against the actions of our Brioxoid neighbors when they've provided the citizens with much-needed aid, even despite the cost of the war. I suppose their kindness, however clever it may be, will still be called heresy by the Peirgartens. Ironic, but still petty."

Darcie clasped her gloved hands behind her back, listening silently as her runner read aloud the announcement. She stared out the window she stood before as rain began to fall. "Spring often brings flowers. Let us hope, for our friends sake, they are the ones that bare thorns and not the poisonous type." She dismissed the runner and continued to stare out the window, lost in her own musings and thoughts that were only for her to know.

Tobie cocked his brow, grinning some "This should be interesting."

Warrane chuckled in the meantime, still getting to grips with what he'd read "War is a more common language than the one diplomats speak, I don't see why they're not attacking the occupying force."
