Hello fellow Massivecraft friends!
First things first (TL;DR):
I have yet to find a Minecraft server as professional and well-functioning as Massive.
I have yet to find a community as kind and welcoming as the community of Massivecraft.
You are fantastic, all of you.
This part is directed towards the staff:
I think it's time to let you guys know how much your hard work pays off, and how proud you should be of yourselves. Trying to keep such a diverse community together while maintaining a professionalism I've never stumbled upon before on ANY server I've played on, is just a huge achievement by itself. The release of the new KitPvP completely overwhelmed me, when I showed my brother the functions and everything he sat next to me gasping widely. We were both in shock more or less, and god knows how much effort must've been put into this new PvP dreamscape. Very well done!
The service and assistance from the moderators and crew have been splendid so far, the longest time I had to wait was about 30 minutes or something when I made a staff ticket. Keep up the good work!
The overall experience here on the server is both unique and challenging. The best part is that you as a player set up your own goals, Massivecraft keeps the freedom and diversity of vanilla Minecraft while still adding advanced mechanics to it. I know as a former server administrator that an issue we often stumble upon is the balance between freedom and structure. This was a very hard problem for me when I implemented new features, change one thing and it affects almost everything else. There is always room for improvement here, that's why I believe peek-holes to the player base is a clever thing to have, since we look at the same coin from different perspectives, and we tend to learn so much from each other! As mentioned earlier: The balance between structure and freedom is key.
Keep up the fantastic work, have a cup of coffee and a nice semla because you totally deserve it. Feel good!
This is directed towards the players:
Roleplayers, warriors, mob hunters, mercenaries, farmers, Kings, Queens and merchants.
Thank you for being you. You have created an astonishing atmosphere for me to take in and enjoy.
Whether it's the rewarding trading, the intense battles, the immersive roleplaying or something else, it has all been a joy to be a part of, unleashing loads of creativity within my mind. Together we help build a fantastic world where the imagination literally is our limit, I know that sounded cheesy, forgive me somehow LOL
I am a swedish viking, the konungr of FrostWind. Probably one of the worst PvP:ers on this server, preferring to run a way like a coward in the heat of battle than fight like a battle-bear. I am Björn Ynkrygg (Bear Coward). The only dwarf you'll probably ever stumble upon that knows how it feels to be a coward.
Nice meeting you all, safe travels & good vibes.
Sincerely /flp <3
