The Seigneurship of Flemyng
- OOC.
- This is a PVP Faction with a huge element of RP to it. We aim to encourage a lot of roleplay within our faction but keep PVP the main aspect of how we operate.
- We will aim to be a Crisis of Kings Faction.
- We will recruit roleplayers and PVPers alike.

- Brief History.
- The product of an ambitious Fenderfell Explorer, Flemyng was formed during a joint Ithaní/Ceardian charter voyage from La Portée du Paradis in 271AC by Guy de la Pelley. Named after the cartographer Gregory Flemyng, the lands were barren and bare to the naked eye yet abound with ores and wealth of subterranean value.
- The township of Jarrow-on-the-Hill (so named for the sizeable hillside it was built upon) was constructed with local timber by Ceardian/Ithaní settlers in the summer of 273AC, funded by the de la Pelley Company.
- Guy de la Pelley was anointed first Seigneur of Flemyng by the Flemyng Parish Church during the following month of Jarrow's construction, becoming the first lord of the isle.
- *Following the Seigneurship of Guy the isle flourished through lucrative silver mining.
- Four generations of de la Pelley men would hold the seat of Seigneurship well into the early years of the fourth century AC until circumstances of an unnatural origin would bring about the destruction of the fief for a short time.
- The Bone Horror Crisis of 304AC wiped out Henri de la Pelley, his consort, three sons, and two daughters all within a single night. The population of Jarrow was cut down to a mere 35 from a once bustling burgh, which managed to stow away in the Castle's walls.
- As the crisis came to an end during the latter months of the year Flemyng saw a surprising investment. Odo du Mont-Gardé a distant relation of eccentric pursuits, purchased the Seigneurship (which was in the year of 304AC worthless if not dead-weight to one's earnings) from the de la Pelley Company for a whole sum of 179 Regals.
The Ocean plays an important part in the sustenance and industry of Flemyng, many being fishermen and sailors.
