(Slum Healers & Alchemical Services)
IC Information
The Black Birds are a group of wandering healers and alchemists, whose soul purpose is to heal those who are harmed in the Slums. While this care isn't free, it is very effective, and makes members large amounts of money. While healing is a great service they provide, they also provide alchemical goods, and contraband. They're known for their decent pay to their loyal members.
OOC Information
I cannot stress this enough, this is not a gang, rather a business/organization that wishes to make money, and gain knowledge. While the Birds do have armed forces, they are only there to protect healers, and break up fights when necessary. If one should ever start a fight in uniform, they will be publicly punished for all slum dwellers to watch. We are never to start problems, only to assist in the termination of current ones.
Positions
Black-Doctuerate: The head of the organization, responsible for organizing wanders, hosting events, and managing the ranks. Takes up taxations from other members to raise money for better equipment.
Ravens: Medical personnel of the order. They are responsible for wandering the slums, and healing individuals who need medical assistance. Pay is fully dependent on how much is made on their wanders, small percentage paid daily to Black-Doctuerate.
Black Birds: The known Alchemists/backbone of the order. They stay back in HQ, concocting, studying, and improving previous alchemical goods. They also are seen selling alchemical products to people in the Emporium. Their pay is either dependent on their sales, if they wander and sell their alchemical goods. A small percentage going to them, the rest going up as taxes. Given an annual paycheck by the Black Docteurate, given every two weeks.
Raven-Claws: The muscle of the force! These folk are well trained in the arts of combat, through third party training. They protect the healers during their patrols, and also try to keep the peace when around healers. They are never seen without another member of the Black Birds. (Only around members who aren't Raven-Claws.) They provide their own weapons. Paid in annual paycheck by the Black Docteurate, mainly depending on their activity and work times.
Gatherers: These are the trusted individuals who provide the Black Birds with their ingredients to work with their alchemical and medical needs. (These individuals are mainly for giving your character a fun quest. Entirely for entertainment of the player.) Their pay is based on what they bring into the organization.
Goals
The Vogelmasken focuses on making money. That's their job. While they have 'hidden' goals, such as finding ways to make healing magics obsolete, and desires to found new alchemical concoctions both weaponized and medical. Weaponized concoctions would be secret and only used by themselves, if ever discovered. Medical however, would be sold for the highest bidder, and recipe will be sold to the City Apothecary.
