Soon after her birth the family would move from their home in the city to a modest one in Ithania due to concerns of the growing dangers of the city. Her father acting as a liaison officer for the Ithanian military in their defensive campaigns against Florent de Gosselin. Teaching her both Luetz and Ithanian to fit in better in the new culture they lived amongst, while her mother tried to instil in her a strong faith that never really clicked with her. From a young age Celine found herself enrolled in theatre training, as her parents wanted to give her a career that would benefit her in their new home. Taking quite well to the skills due to her lineage she managed to always know how to get on the good side of her teachers and audience. During a performance one day an accident a heavy prop became unstable, falling and crushing her right arm causing it to need amputation and halting her theatre career. Adjusting to life with only one arm was difficult but it was during this time she met an Altalar sorcerer who taught her the skills of interacting with the veil much to her parents' concern. As she got older she refused to let her injury hold her back, befriending an Asha slave smith who taught her how to forge. Taking heavily to this and finding a fascination with the growing popularity of clockwork tech she learned with the aid of the smith how to forge biotech, using it to replace her lost arm and finally gain back the full capability of her body much to her own pride. Her parents, fully impressed with her skills and overjoyed to see her have a limb again helped her with her goals of attending Collegiate d’Évraux for diplomacy. With these new skills and after a short visit of her brother she decided to follow him back to Regalia to make an independent life for herself.
