Lena is a 182 cm woman with an athletic frame hardened from an unforgiving environment. Her black hair is styled into a rustic braid that reaches down her back. A nasty, teeth exposing scar splits open the left section of her lip, which she hides under a gas mask. Lena's fashion is dull and unremarkable, usually sporting monochrome colors purposed for work over aesthetic. She is withdrawn, presenting a calm and restrained conduct that survives any tough hand dealt to her.
Lena's mage heritage is implied from white, glowing streaks swirling down her thick braid. It gently sways on its own.

Lena was born in a sleepy village of the Oltaran Republic / Respublika Slavnogo Sveta.
Her mother is a mist mage that served as one of the Republic's best snipers.
She is a painter, boasting a small collection of finished works
Lena is a mercenary living on each check, aiming where money tells her.
⊳ Lena was born to a mist mage who initially served as a sniper in the Oltaran Republic. Her childhood was fairly simple, but short lived as she had to grow into a merciless dog eat dog world. She survived multiple instances of street fights and break ins.
⊳ As a teenager, she moved into the city for continued education - eventually being taken under the wing of a painter.
⊳ While growing into her own, she continued to cultivate her talent. Soon, her work began to gain traction the more it challenged the current political climate. Out of fear for association, her mentor dropped Lena, forcing her to survive from her own funds.
⊳ In the middle of winter, Lena disappeared. When spring came, she resurfaced to the public in a hideous state. It was soon discovered that to deal the final, ostracizing blow to her public image, the republic infected her with the Marken curse. Burnt off and afraid, Lena packed her belongings and took off into a year long journey that would lead her to Regalia.
