✯ Alcoholic- Flardryn is very much an alcoholic, drinking whenever he can and just doing it to make the pain of his past fade away. It's his life and it has not been kind so whenever he can he'll grab the bottle over the nearest friend he has to console him and that just leads him to push more people away. Drunken days where he acts unlike himself and just wishing he could finally not feel anymore.
✯ Insomnia- He is plagued by insomnia, not getting good sleep or rest at night, and sometimes going without it. Likely causing him to have his cold exterior and annoyed attitude all of the time because he is so damn tired and just wants to be at peace. Yet he doesn't want help he doesn't want to get it fixed because he doesn't even want to believe he has it.
✯ PTSD- Upon other things, a smaller case of PTSD is something he has to deal with ever since his brother died, and it hasn't gotten better. He has gone numb to it all and each time he loses someone he goes into fits of depression and anger and grabs the bottle to try and shove it all away. His life is not one fit for the conditions he has, yet again he doesn't do anything about them. Because he doesn't want to believe he has them.​

✵ 40 AC - 60 AC Childhood and Early Life.

✯ Flardryn was born in Ellador, the frigid homeland of the Isldars to Mnementh Swyftfurusat(Leoxalim) and Shalendra Swyftfurusat. His father a Frost Watcher, previously a Wind Watcher before settling down with Flardyrn's mother who was a singer, dancer, and much more. He was the eldest of three other children: two brothers, Tamnaeth; (Born 51 AC) and Kaenaran (Born 58 AC), and one sister: Sillavana (Born 55 AC). Being the eldest Vekariaal was left to really hold his own, whilst his father was out protecting the hold his mother was taking care of his siblings. He was old enough at the time to take care of himself and he did so, trying to do odd jobs around Ellador as he really started as a stable boy for the Wyverns. Though soon once he hit eighteen his father taught him how the ways of the world worked with combat, what's right and wrong. Honor, valor, all teaching about being a good fighter and a noble one at that.​

✵ 60 AC - 105 AC Adulthood & Combat Training

✯ Later on in his life, once he had learned some moral basics from his father he was taught by family friends and his father, how to fight. Mostly Isldarian Mercenaries, Wind and Frost Watchers, and more. He was taught military fighting styles, known techniques but good in a battle if you could use them well. During these years he picked up pit fighting and ended up dueling other Isldars for sport, competition, money, or to sharpen his skills. He also picked up the bow and also bola combat and learned a few things with ranged weapons but never took it to heart nor studied it as he did the way of the sword. In the later years, he had trained as much as we wanted and joined being a FrostWatcher for a time, and fought alongside his brothers and sisters in arms and also just his brother. Tamnaeth and Flarydrn fought alongside in protecting the holds but were ambushed on a patrol, which ended in his brother's death and that of the murderers once Vekariaal got to his sword. After that he sang the song of the dead and cried out at his brother's lifeless form, watching the Soul leave the body before he fled from Ellador without notice or warning.​

✵ 105 AC - 305 AC Life as a Mercenary

✯ Vekariaal was then just a drifter, going from place to place doing jobs working for money to sustain himself, legally, illegally, or anyway, he could really get something to eat and a bottle of whiskey. He'd fight and fight and fight again, bloodied and bruised at the end but he'd get the job he needed to do. The new mercenary following a few groups from time to time picking up alchemy on the way but he never settling down or joining their schools properly. Now he did fall in love occasionally but this was just tragedy for him, for every lover he met, met the fate of dying by his side or leaving him without much to go on. He was never happy, turning to be an alcoholic, insomniac man who was plagued by his failures that he just couldn't let go of. His story a sad one he made ends meet, fighting for money or protecting people who were too stupid to protect themselves. He fought in the Chrysant War when that came about but only to protect his contract or kill his contract, didn't really matter. He had become so numb to feeling that this was just natural for him. His body never rested and he became apathetic and almost emotionless in his age and also from the events he'd been through but something kept happening, his cold heart would thaw and he would find someone he loves before they were taken away again! That is what led him to Regalia, one more person he loved and cared for was shot and killed and he couldn't stop it, only get vengeance for those who wronged him. He took off from the lackluster grave he buried them in and fled off to Regalia, grabbing the nearest ticket and running from his past.

✵ 305 AC - Present Continued story…

✯ Flarydrn found himself in Regalia, the Holy City some say. He says that's a ton of bullshit. His luck didn't get better and he kept repeating his past of getting lovers, losing them. He worked as a mercenary, a sword for hire, and a fighter before he found Jared Kade. Came to work for him at the Golden Willow yet that didn't stop him from getting into trouble. He then was plagued by visions from Frisit and was tasked by Jared to try to figure out what these visions meant and what they led to. They led to a child named Griffin and when it came to it he and a group of Isldars failed to kill them. After that, he spiraled into the world he knew was changed, Frisit worshippers were being burned for their idiotic choices and he had to pick a side in the end. The persecuted or the persecution, he chose the latter and joined Jared's guard he was making, became a Captain before leaving at seeing a simple blacksmith be run through with a spear after being told not to kill. He left for a while then, coming back to hear Jared had tried to outlaw Frisit worship a second time, he broke and couldn't have that. He shot Jared Kade in the knee and was branded a Kade assassin, taken to prison, and then put under servitude to Jared with a new name and appearance. Heimelijk Merric, the imperialized Isldar. Being shunned by his kind for getting Frisit worship back he gave up and just let the days go on as a mercenary. Then he was offered a position as Dragon Warden when he came to Jared looking for purpose, and he took it. Now the protector of the mundane and the Matron. He fought against the clickers at their final stand, helped kill mages that intended to consume soul essence on mass, spoken to Dragons, Arkens, and more. He has also forgone his sneaking a bit as well as his athletics and sleight of hand due to how much he has changed as a character.
