Life Story

Birth
On the 6th of August, 286 AC Mateor Alearretyn was born into the lush forests of Hyarroc, Daen.

Early Childhood (0-5)
Mateo was a curious child, learning to read and walk around the average age, as a toddler he learned his basic skills such as counting and other necessities. Though, his attention always seemed to divert elsewhere much to his mothers dismay, it was only the beginning however and with the child growing larger came more challenges.

Childhood (6-12)
On his feet as soon as he was fully able, the curiosity only became more prominent with his age, as did his ability to traverse further than his mother liked. He would often be found on top of the roofs, or in the trees to watch the sunset over the lush forests he always knew, wondering where he would end up if he simply headed off in one direction. Around this time, he also noticed that his family was different, beginning to ask questions about his father, which caused his mother to become tense until eventually snapping at him asking to drop it, and he did. He never asked again after that, forming a slight disliking for the man.

Teens (13-17)
Mateo's agility and desires to see more grew stronger as he aged, beginning to tell stories to his mother about how he would find a well paying job so she never had to work hard again, the woman edged him on mostly assuming he would spend his life in the small community he was used to. He still had the drive upon reaching adulthood, and his mother, feared but knowing she had to let her little bird fly, began to pack essentials for him as his 18th birthday approached.

Adulthood (18-20)
Upon turning of age, Mateo began to plan his adventure away from his little village, and after a few weeks he gathered everything necessary, with a tearful goodbye from his mother he set off into the world in hopes of finding his own place. Settling down in Ves Ivaëlle, he took a job cleaning market stalls, though it didn't pay well it allowed him to eat almost every night but as profits dwindled so did the coin he was receiving. He began to notice the riches of many not long after, noticing how some had a tendency to dangle it over the less fortunate, even making them embarrass themselves over barely enough to keep them by, and it angered him that they somehow believed power came with how much coin you earned. He robbed someone blind by the end of the week, his agility coming in handy, and bringing it up to his small group of friends; He formed a thieves guild in the city, also deciding to attend Lancierron School of Ivaëlle when he had days off, learning how to ride a horse.

Present Day (21-present)
The guild of thieves only grew bigger with more passing years, turning into an alternative for any that couldn't afford a nights eat, though they never stole from those who didn't deserve it, believing it immoral to take from those making a living off of kind values. One night, while window shopping Mateo would bump into a man on the street, the two developing a quick friendship which turned into a budding romance, hidden from family in fear of disownment. He bought a house of decent size, and planned to settle down with the man one day, though much to his dismay tragedy struck causing said dreams to be lost quickly. Marriage, he was to be married to a woman, the wedding already planned without his knowledge, and a desperate Mateo suggested them running away together to avoid it, the choice made quicker than he hoped. He stood upon the roof of the wedding chapel the following week, heartbroken as he watched a man he once loved marry. Sloppy and in need of release, he organized a heist, the guilds biggest yet, to steal from a man who was handsy with women, however heartbroken and brain muddled it was the first time he was caught and by morning there were wanted posters on every corner. Deciding it was best to disperse or avoid imprisonment, he would agree and was leaving the city by the following night, to wherever his feet took him, eventually ending up on a boat to the City of Regalia.

Small change! I'm better at sword rp so I changed his preferred weapon to a cutlass and upped his proficiency a little bit. All changes highlighted in purple, shouldn't be making anymore changes for awhile. (I’ve also been told any prof/minor info doesn’t need to be re-reviewed, and won’t make that mistake in the future)

As of Sunday, March 21st, Mateor had been cured of vampirism, and Wednesday he had been re-infected but under Alais bloodline. All changes such as vampire abilities and form have been updated, but any changes not under spoilers have been highlighted in purple.

• Problems arose with Mateo being Cielothar, to the point of where I could barely play him (him being exiled, he can’t properly hide himself with Flux Shift 5 since he can’t change the hair color). So I changed him to Suvial Altalar.
• Profs completely overhauled with changes.
• Racial abilities have also been updated.
• Anything else, is highlighted in aqua.
