before he was turned, his eyes were yellow, and remained even after he was bitten. only his sclera turned dark red

Mechanics:
Kathar specific Mechanics:
- Kathar power cannot be denied to them. If anyone uses an Ability/Mechanic that would force them to use Radiant instead of Sinistral Magic, they still use Sinistral anyway.
- Kathar can change the alignment of any Spirit to that of Void, so long as the possess/own/control the Spirit. Void Spirits are always symbiotic for them also.
- Kathar are not affected by the mental characteristics or changes of any Affliction or Affinity and are always in control of their own mind from them.
- Kathar are able to look at a person and intuit their Corruption Desire, with OOC Consent (see below). Then, the Kathar can act towards this goal.
- Kathar can use subtle vice-heightening curses on those within Emote Range, heightening their Pride, Fury, Avarice, Corruption, Rejection, or Hedonism.
Vampire specific Mechanics:
- Hidden Scourge
can magically hide teeth and Afflicted eyes. This breaks during feeding (If someone knows your His Full name and that Hes a Vampire, this Mechanic doesn't work on them.) - Long Living
Self Explanatory - Sanguine Bargain
can grant immunity to Vampirism to any person willing to bargain with him. In turn, if the bargained person attacks him, reveals that he is a Vampire, or reveals the deal, they take massive damage (discuss together what this means before making the bargain). - Mind Suggestion
With OOC consent, He can mind-trick Characters into doing his bidding without establishing full Mind Control over them. These simple verbal commands are undetectable, but cannot be more complicated than a single sentence. - Vampire Transformation
You can transform into a Vampire Form, which is a Monstrous form with a unique Vampire-themed design that you can create. This counts as a Disguise and a Monstrous Transformation (illegal in Regalia). You remain in Vampire Form even after reaching 0 HP.
Special Vampiric Mechanics (Limited to 2) - Universal Speech
He can understand and speak all mortal and currently practiced languages from all the corners of the world. This includes magical languages spoken by mortals, or even Elderlaw languages like Dragonspeech. - Honeyed words

Backstory/Plothooks
How and When he was turned into a vampire
it was a decent amount of time ago, even he cant fully remember when it happened.
He was out on a fishing trip, attempting to gather specimens for study. sending his net out into the water, and pulling up a humanoid creature. Its mostly a blur, but all he remembers is being attacked, bitten, his horns nearly being shattered. and then two days of excruciating pain and fever. it took very little time to figure out he had become a vampire, the physical changes especially to his skin were evidence enough for him. and his sudden thirst for blood. his prior studies on the heritages of the world also aided in figuring out the brood he was now a part of. having taken on the traits of an old dragon that he feared, and worshipped as a child. Despite only having heard stories from peers. hence the red skin, aswell sudden tail and horn growth.
Since then, hes used his Kathar origins to his advantage, keeping the fact that he is a vampire hidden by simply explaining his appearance as some sort of mutation to anyone who questioned him. retaining an insane amount of time and care into making sure people would not find him out. especially when feeding. One of his few interests now is survival. hyper aware of the way the world views vampires. it damaged his pride initially, but he learned to get over it.
Ever since becoming a vampire, its also greatly affected his previous traits that are common among Kathar. especially his Ego, Manipulative selfish tendencies, ext.
He does his best to retain an unassuming and harmless appearance, even if he stands out a bit due to his 'mutation'. Having figured out early on that this sort of appearance is within his best interest, if he wants to survive at least.
non-vampiric backstories are TBA. this character will be fleshed out more as i play with him more. Personality is also slowly being fleshed out properly,
