Spoiler: Tattoo References ✧ ┅┅┅ LIFE STORY ┅┅┅ ✧ ✧ Yvonne was born to Éric and Adèle de Pierre in one of the wealthier portions of Ithania as the youngest of four siblings. ✧ After the death of her parents, Yvonne was sent off to live with her extended family. In an attempt to find solace from her grief, she buried herself in books and schooling. She also involved herself in dance, although she took to it less well. ✧ Yvonne chose to visit Regalia for the first time when she was very 18, staying with her aunt Palina. However, after receiving news that her cousin and grandmother had perished, she returned to Ithania once more. After taking more time for herself, she enrolled in The Collegiate d’Évraux. ✧ Finally, after completing her education, Yvonne returned to Regalia once more to visit her aunt and the friends she had made. Spoiler: Extended Life Story Childhood (1-9): Yvonne was born in one of the wealthier portions of Ithania, to Éric and Adèle de Pierre. She was the youngest of four siblings, and although she was typically disregarded in favor of the older members of the family, she never had to ask for much. Almost every cry she wrought was met with attention and coddling, and although this didn’t provide her with any independence, she was raised into a happy and healthy toddler. It was at this point that some peculiarities of hers became known - more specifically, her intense focus and seemingly skewed emotions. Rather than addressing this head on, though, Yvonne’s mother instead chose to ignore her odd tendencies. In an effort to hide the girl’s peculiar nature, Adèle began exposing her to dance and literature, hoping that the girl would take to them. Luckily for her, Yvonne easily complied, and began to learn. Upbringing (10-14): As the years progressed, Yvonne developed as well. Unfortunately, when she was around eleven, both Éric and Adèle perished in a fire. Yvonne, sad, traumatized, and bewildered, was sent off to live with her aunt, uncle, and cousins, all of whom lived in Ithania as well. Her new home was very different, and rather than being coddled and treated like royalty, Yvonne experienced the culture shock that was being treated like everyone else (albeit still by servants). It was then that she began to lose hope in her religion, certain that if her faith really meant anything, then her parents and family would have been protected. Unsure what to do, and with misery still clouding her mind, she did the only thing she could think of: she turned to books, and drank in everything they had to offer. She grew fascinated by the exploits contained within, both fictional and non-fictional. Her interests shifted and broadened, a whole new set of worlds opening up before her. Magic especially intrigued her, the concept of spells and new realities drawing her in like nothing before. It was here that Yvonne began looking into finding possible teachers for the craft, although she didn't have much luck at first. Adolescence (15-18): After living with her cousins and extended family for so long, she had begun to grow quite close to them. She still didn’t view them as her siblings and parents, but treasured them as family nonetheless. Her studies continued to flourish as she eagerly soaked up every drop of knowledge she could glean, although she stopped her training with daggers when she was 17 due to the familial backlash that came along with it. Eventually, she felt that she had gained everything she could from Ithania, and at the age of 18, she left to visit Regalia for the first time. It was an abrupt awakening, to say the least. The city was loud, coarse, and rough - everything that Yvonne had been raised to not be. She stayed with her aunt Palina, exploring the city, and learning the few things she could. Unfortunately, news traveled back to her; her cousin Marthe, affectionately called Radley, had passed away in childbirth. Not only that, but her grandmother had fallen ill and perished as well. At this, Yvonne traveled back to Ithania alongside her aunt, both of them wrought with sorrow. Young Adulthood (19-24): Yvonne, now incredibly devastated, withdrew once more, a shell clutching at books that once held her heart. She moved back into her studies with an almost obsessive drive, hoping to force all of her negative emotions out in her pursuit of knowledge. She enrolled at The Al-Hamjad Hamanh College, hoping it would help her in this goal. As she worked, the little faith she had left in Unionism dwindled even more, and she became resentful and angry towards the idea that the deaths that hurt her so much were for a so-called ‘better purpose’. So, she distanced herself from religion, ignoring it completely as she worked. She visited Regalia once more during this time, checking in on Palina, before leaving again to resume her studies in Ithania. Finally, after graduating with a slightly clearer mind, Yvonne left once more to Regalia, where Palina waited yet again with open doors.
@Caelamus Some general changes have been made in red in the proficiency, religion, and backstory sections. A special traits section was also added in in order to accommodate her new ritualism proficiency.
Approved but as a note, changing of spells in the future isn't really permitted unless you start learning more spells. So, try to make the best of what you currently have. @Shade_Star

A general reworking of proficiency points and spells due to the learning of new ones, feel free to let me know if you need a further source of insight as to who taught Yvonne. A few general aesthetic changes as well, although I don't believe those require special attention.
