"HOW DARE YOU!!"
Carthas roared out at seemingly no one as his Legion office was empty safe for him and a few scattered papers. Just moments prior he had been at the Tavern with his niece and brother. Safe to say the experience had less than satisfactory results for the Norrvakt.
"You dare defy me as such?! Nicolas d'Eluise, you are a fool and coward an now you will pay for your most grave error! You made us a fool in the presence of many and dare bring shame upon another House. Have you anything to say for your actions worm?!"
"Worm? My, my. It seems that you are beginning to sound like our sister. Seems the Warbeast has a temper, calm yourself dog."
"I did not summon you to speak Delacroix! You may remain silent or I will deal with you next!"
"Carthas, even if you wished to rid yourself of me, it is impossible."
"Is that truly how you feel?!"
"Oui"
Without hesitation or thought, the eunuch Norrvakt draws a small dagger stabbing it into the table, he awaits a response to have silence return. He proceeds to remove the glove covering his left hand and casts it to the side. Again, Carthas waits for silence to return to him. In an instant, he takes the dagger out of the wooden table and drives it into the flesh of the degloved member.
"Was that entirely necessary?"
Carthas breathes heavily, smiling at the dagger, blood coming forth from the wound. He removes it, placing it down with force on the table.
"Non. But this will be."
The Norrvakt steps to a chest in the corner and upon opening, brings out a foggy glass jar, placing it on the table.
"N-Non, what? How did you..."
"Do not be so foolish Nicolas. I knew that I could not harm you by harming us, if I did I would have done it when we were in Nordskag. But I came to the realization in my creation, that there is a way to harm you Nicolas d'Eluise. A way to free myself of your weakness."
"Please, don't do this..."
"Fair well my friend."
Carthas picks up the glass jar and smashes it into the fireplace. Burning up the contents with a putrid odor.
"Finally, rid of that fool."
"So sure are you?"
Carthas chuckles.
"So that was Delacroix in there all these years wasn't it?"
"Naturally"
"Nicolas d'Eluise. The deceptive one. You castrated yourself and told everyone it was to spite your sister. We know the truth."
"Though it may be difficult to comprehend, we do, yes."
"I was wrong about you Nicolas, perhaps we both can be of some benefit to the other after all."
"I couldn't say it any better my friend."
