Léandre Attenais - Ylva's twin brother, the two are extremely close and he's the person she'd immediately go to if she ever had issues. Although often feels like she has to watch over him, in fear he'd get into trouble. @DankDan
Ztril Al-Yaotal - Ylva's teacher, she works under him as his apprentice and he's showing her the ropes of alchemy, particularly perfume creation. Solzza Ssalazi - Solzza is definitely a friend in Ylva's eyes, the two most recently seen around one another at work and defending each other in the current Rift Crisis. Infancy and Childhood - 288AC
In 288AC Haute Puisse Ithania, a Warran Varran servant had a scandalous affair with her rich employer's son, disrupting the sanctity of the Ailor blood line just that little bit further. The two's relationship was fairly short lived as the varran woman realised she was with child and her partner in question, swiftly broke ties with her, sending her to the next city on to try protect his own reputation in fear of the news coming to the public.
The woman never settled in that city, rather she continued travelling, as far away as she could in fear the employers family would search for her to dispose of the affairs child. After several months of walking, the woman gave birth to two healthy unexpected non-identical twins, a boy and a girl. In a small village clinic, the charges for such was rather substantial so the woman did not stay long, only until she new her two newborns were healthy to continue their journey.
The two infants were explorers from day one, strapped to their mothers chest as she continued her lengthy journey of fleeing in pure paranoia. The two toddlers grew street smart as soon as they could hold a running conversation and were eager to cause mishap for their mother, often getting lost in busy markets being distracted by something new and shiny. Bouncing of each others vibrant energy, despite Ylva being the more cautious and shy one of the two.
Teenagehood to Young Adult
Ylva and her twin brother continued travelling with their mother all across the archipelago, witnessing all sorts of different cultures and cuisines until finally they stopped in Daenshore. Their mother grew charmed by a daen bard at a sea shanty tavern and the two became a couple swiftly, thus marking the end of their lengthy journey with their mother. Settling in a quaint home sat on the coastline, soon infesting the coastal town with many half varran younglings, growing their family rather substantially.
The young teen often offered her help with her younger half siblings, taking a role of guardian in most situations, so even at a young age she grew a maternal sense of protection over those younger than her, making sure none of them got hurt, and if she witnessed them receiving any torment from the other civilians she'd be sure to bite back in retorts and anger.
However having lived on the roads for such a long time, Ylva became to crave for new adventures and travels, unable to find decent work in her coastal town of Daenshore. This is where she began an interest in Alchemy as she bumped into a traveler selling his trade of potions and salves, inspired she began to create bodge job perfumes and crushed leafy salves in her bedroom with the wrong ingredients, but determined to make something worth selling. In her spare time creating little wooden carvings to entertain her younger siblings and assisting her mother in mending torn clothes wherever she could offer a hand.
It was often the furling received backlash for her blood and many passersby would double take a look as she walked past, so she eventually grew an iron backbone theoretically, not allowing words or muttered comments to knock her down. Collecting many skills in such a little time, this in turn also matured the young half varran rather swiftly. After a while her mother noticed her daughter had grown into a rather independent woman, allowing her two travelling babes to take their own journey, as long as Ylva watched after her not so bright brother in payment.
Present - 308AC
Soon after receiving her mother's blessing to start her own journey, it wasn't long until Ylva had gathered all her belongings and dragged her brother with her. The two set out for the illustrious city of Regalia after hearing the Daen Folk chatter about it for so long. After a while of house hunting, the two managed to find a nice floor above a cafe that was wanting tenants, and there they decided to stay for a while.
Most recently, Ylva has become an apprentice under Arbiter Ztril Al-Yaotal and is studying Alchemy at the Talon and Claw apothecary. Creating many new scaled friends that make her feel right at home in the city.
