- His father passed away after an accident from the burning of their home
- After the loss of their father, the family decided to earn money through the older brother's street magic while Xia snuck through the crowd to pickpocket as many people as possible without being discovered
- They soon after saved enough money in order to go to the Mercenary School of Darkmark, allowing them to learn the art of stealth and combat at the same time
- Xia began to feel right at home within the School, starting his own training at the age of 8 in order to stay with his older brother

- Xia grew older, increase his wisdom of the world as he'd hear news of his older brother being injured. Xia decided that he needed to tend to his brother within Regalia, so he has now decided to venture to Regalia in search of his brother and new work as a mercenary
