Life Story (Required) Aila Phitris was born to a couple within the Warpwoods. As some people would call her, Aila was a mistake. Her parents weren't interested in having children, so they raised her within her early years, providing as little as they could for her. As a single child, the young Wylathar found many activities to do in her free time when no one wanted to entertain her, such as carving, painting and discovering new found plants. She conversed with these plants as if they were her own friends, seeing as she had none. On Aila's 5th birthday, her parents gifted her enough clothing, food, and necessities for the child to survive on her own, then left her in their home. Aila had been abandoned by those she thought loved her. The next few years were rough, as Aila picked up the skill of stealing from those around her to make a living and continue to survive. The day that Aila's life changed was the day that she attempted to pickpocket an older, more mature Wylathar, who would soon take her in as her own. As she was caught, the elder felt bad for the child and offered her shelter and warm food, sparking the twos' instant relationship. Nimvinia, the elder, treated Aila as if she was her own. She introduced to the child to sorcery, which she used for all of her tricks and treats. She mentored the girl and taught her about the outside world, the Ailor's, the Altalar's, the land, stories of the land, and anything she could think of. Nim had even introduced Aila to a widespread worship of Nirualla. Aila had conducted her own studying of the deity and found them to be a way of escape and peace, worshipping them daily. A motherly bond was quickly built as the two celebrated everything together, from Katharic celebrations, to birthdays, to living another day. Nimvinia had become Aila's other half. On Aila's 13th birthday, the duo moved from the Warpwoods to Daendroque, as they had planned to travel the world together. Just like before, Aila had trouble making friends and pushed everyone away with her words or sorcery; the only person she opened up to was Nim. The two continued to live in Daen for two years, Aila still pickpocketing the people there as a way for them to make ends meet. Just past their four years stay, Nimvinia fell very ill. She was bedridden for days, high fever, chills, and could barely speak. The night before Aila's 20th birthday, Nimbuses had passed away. Aila had lost her other half, her best friend, and her only parent she had known or remembered. After numerous days of mourning, Aila had decided she no longer wanted to be somewhere that cause her pain, and made way for Ithania. The Wylathar's arrival in Ithania was very difficult as she had little money and nowhere to stay. She slept on streets, in people's backyards, hidden within restaurants and wherever she could fit. As time passed, Aila had been fortunate enough to find a job within a small tavern and worked there to earn extra coin. She had found a very small, rotted apartment to use as shelter as it was all she could afford. Flora, corrupted and normal, ran across the ceilings and walls of the home as it made the Nelfin more comfortable. She set up a memorial for Nim and brought back small offerings each evening after work; some more important than others. On her way home from work, Aila had run into another Kathar, this time a Saivalthar who called herself "The One and Only." She refused to give a name and instead gave a location as to where the two could meet, because Aila, the curious being she was, wanted to know more. Upon meeting, the Saivalthar revealed her real name, Xylena. Xylena told Aila of her loves and losses, which inspired Aila to open up to the woman; which she did. The two immediately connected and became close, moving in with each other and talking of travel plans. Xy had mentioned to Aila of a location called "Regalia," and so the two had packed everything up, hopped upon a ship and made way for the holy city of Regalia, leaving their troubles behind in search of a new life.
