Hello all,

I am wanting to write a book and I need some ideas of characters and the plot of the story.

I have no idea of what to add to this story and I am wanting you're ideas to help me! So comment below to share you're ideas to help me!

You will be added to the credits at the start of back of the book.

Celtic (Miss Ayla Dark)

Make the story have an attack on somewhere... a faction possibly?

Something that does not involve factions, clans sounds good but meh.

All that comment above is predictable. I want something eye catching wanting everyone to read. At the moment I have a girl named Ash and a wolf in the forest.

Is the book race specific? like humans dwarfs ect?

we need a little bit more info.

I don't know thats why I need help.[DOUBLEPOST=1370150045,1370149550][/DOUBLEPOST]I am basing the story around a wolf and a human girl. Any ideas to come off that? I still need names and a plot to help.

Is it lore?
Have you picked a genre?
Have you got a basic plot outline?
Antagonists?
What topics does it address (if any)

The above is what I usually ask myself when writing. I have never been a fan of lore so I mainly write horror's/thrillers that are based around religion. ( I'm Agnostic so I try not to offend people when I write my books, I base my ideas of religion off of what I know and what I believe and then put them into a story) and if my book doesn't address any religions it focuses on other topics considered taboo by many.

A book about a Pie maker? and his/her quest to RID of the rats that eat his/her ingredients! :) he/she has little to no Combat skills etc..? Just something a little different to the usual Heroes swords and Grand epic battles.

A girl is in her tiny Snow-capped village in Johildrr (Or whatever its called. The book starts at the befogging of a attack from a nearby collective of Orcish tribes attack the town and overwhelm the defenders with a huge numerical advantage. A girl is cowering in her house with her mother after her Father went out to fight. As the Orcs slowly push through the desperate defenders in a mass of themselves. She is panicking and starts to cry. The mother whom's viewpoint we have in this chapter realizes the line of defenders is breaking as the soldiers see how even though the are killing three times their numbers the will lose and the run to save their families. She tells her daughter to pack her bags and goes out to fight the Orcs. We assume the daughters panicky scared viewpoint as see packs her bags and leaves. However in childish belief she thinks that the village's forces will defeat them and stays at the outskirts of the village. Strange lights appear and see hears explosions followed by her seeing her mother killed by one of the most elite orcs of all the tribes whom impales her mother on his sword.

She then runs chased by the Orc into the forest. Just as she gives up and the Orc approaches a wolf jumps in a rips the Orc's throat out in a fury that the girl had never seen out of a wolf. This begins a very strange relationship with the Wolf and herself. She also discovers a natural gift for Magic with a extremely powerful blue aura and starts questioning the bluish light and explosions at the town. Before realizing her mother must have been a mage, and starts asking more and more questions about her, her Village's and her family's past...

Just random ideas a threw together in a somewhat comprehensive format, enjoy.

I believe you should focus on creating your own story , rather than use other people's ideas because at the end of the day it is your book. Borrowing ideas would defeat the purpose and creating your own will leave you with a really pleasant feel of satisfaction.

Maybe you could write about my failing attempts to ruin the life of you and your friends... Could turn out to be a quite fun book to read... 8-)

Notcha, I have no ideas for it and wam idea sounds good.[DOUBLEPOST=1370210236,1370210174][/DOUBLEPOST]I will post it in my own words.

A girl was in a village fight, she has a wolf, she is hesitant to meet new people afraid they might hurt her?

A village of peaceful traders who do occasional business with two factions that go to war, one faction decides that the villagers have taken the side of their new enemy and begin raiding the village which forces the villagers into the heart of a distant mountain. Once established in their new mountain home they discover an ancient power while in deep mining which they befriend. The ancient then lends the villagers its boon which enhance every aspect of their being.

Empowered and united they return to the village to end the war and in a show of unprecedented power convince the warring factions to unite them under the new Kingdom, which then returns to a peaceful trading existence - only now as a major merchant power and symbol of peace.[DOUBLEPOST=1370464265,1370463798][/DOUBLEPOST]A simple fisherman catches an odd artifact which grants him power over the undead, to the point that they seek him out for guidance and protection. Hilarity ensues as the fisherman adjusts to his new role as caretaker to local zombies, and skeleton archers.

Potentially funny chapters:
  • Teaching zombies to abstain from brains and adopt a vegetarian lifestyle
  • Getting Skeletons to put on some damned clothes and stick to shooting apples off of zombie heads

Something about lukerdamn and soldiers having to unite to defend Ceardia in is pending destruction?
