Witch Hunter Organization

So its clear that only male roles can act as Hunters... What if there was a Hunter-Mage Duo with a female mage... would that be possible? (For a female role to act as the mage in a Hunter-Mage duo)

I have an idea for my character and I just wanted to clear that up.

There are such things as female, mages, Warriors, Rangers, rogues, alchemists and assassins so I don't see why not.
