Born in Farah'deen to two young parents, Aaliyah al-Abadi was deemed the youngest child of three. She was raised in a healthy family home with unmarried parents. Close family of hers lived within the same quarters, her childhood being spent around them. As she grew older, her parents pay less and less attention to her, leaving the responsibility in the hands of their Clockwork creations. Education was a very important factor within Aaliyah's family as both of her siblings were in school by the time she was born. One relative she was close with was her grandmother, spending her free time with her as well as learning about her past and what it contained. Her grandmother introduced her to the simple ways of Clockwork creation, sparking a fascination within the young one. Alongside knowledge, her grandmother briefly introduced her to that of the beliefs of Esrah Alwattah, sharing stories and such of her religion. As a young child, Aaliyah grew a passion for drawing and the arts of creating, always carrying around a small notebook and chunk of charcoal wherever she went. She grew very tedious of her surroundings, always knowing what was happening around her. At the age of 5, Aaliyah finally began her education, learning the basics of what there was to know at such an age. She was a rather focused child, always completing what was needed on time as well as side activities. Aaliyah found a passion for the world around her, curious about its' creation and how such things came to be. Her extra time, even at such a young age, was spent reading and diving into the knowledge provided around her. Her mother created jewelry and trinkets for a living, often disappearing for some time to come up with new creations. Aaliyah often followed her mother around, sometimes helping her with her crafts and creations, other times drawing what her mother created. Her earlier years mostly consisted of studying, drawing and focusing on her education as what was encouraged. Exploration through books led Aaliyah to the discovery of other cultures, herself becoming intrigued. She took classes to get herself knowledge with the d'Ithanie language, one that was deemed odd for her to know. After years of studying it, she soon became fluent in it, but never abandoning her Faraddi tongue. Within her early teenage years, Aaliyah became fascinated with seemed to be human anatomy and the way such diseases took over one's body, including werebeastism and vampirism. Her studies soon revolved around that of healing and caring for those who fell ill or injured. She learned to heal through medicinal ways as well as sorcery, ignoring the distaste her family has for magic. As her knowledge progressed she spent her time volunteering to help those who became injured or ill, advancing her medical skills as she practiced. When time came to be, she decided to attend a natural sciences school, soon furthering her medical education at Al-Hamjad Hamanh College. Here she learned of ways to protect herself from such vile curses while learning of intensoids that would help injured and ill victims. After successfully graduating from college, Aaliyah returned back to her home town to pursue a career, unsure of what it was to be. When Aaliyah returned home, she decided to work alongside her mother with creating jewelry and trinkets to trade and sell. Their small business succeeded rather well, orders coming here and there. As another side job, Aaliyah worked at a local medicinal office, supporting in ways that were needed. Working alongside people allowed her to create newer friendships, one with an older woman named Safiya. Not long after their first introductions, Aaliyah and Safiya became best friends. Safiya shared her stories of travel Aaliyah, informing her of places she had been and what she had learned. Once she mentioned her travels to Regalia, Aaliyah became inspired to travel herself. She continued working for long, tedious months before finally discussing her travel plans with her family. She informed them of how she wanted to move to Regalia to expand her medical knowledge while creating her own practice there. Though reluctant at first, the al-Abadi family supported Aaliyah in her goals. On her twenty third birthday, Aaliyah packed her bags and said goodbye to her family as she boarded a ship and set sail for Regalia.
