This will be WIP for a long while, I'll be chipping away at it piece by piece, straight on this page instead of fighting with a Google Doc for formatting.

Introduction

This is the Forums Page relating to the Commoner (Possibly Red Blood Noble) Family, Clan Taskhtali-Fan. This House contains a peculiar connection between the Asha and Sihai sets of customs through the chance union of Sahuvi and Liùsè. The two houses find a common meeting ground in the Regalian Isles, with Clan Fan being a moderate exporter of textiles, and Clade Taskhtali being a fairly prominent and successful Merchant family who deal in exotic goods. Through their frequent interaction and business dealings, cultural exchange has been had.

Recruitment to this Family is Open, as well as recruitment to it's House Staff (what little of it may exist), it can be applied on this thread, but I would prefer character pitches are sent via Discord or Forum DM. (stellarrix on discord).

Clan History

Clade Taskhtali and Clan Fan are from far-opposing ends of Aloria, with the Taskhtali finding a home in the Ashal States, namely the more open port-city of Hesepah as well as some origins in La Frontierra in Daen, and Clan Fan having holdings and origins in the Beian Kingdom in the far East.

  • Sihai children are expected to perform and meeting their parents' standards, failure to do so cedes them to military service by the Jade Wall or to be sent to the monasteries as practicing monks.
Liuyue is one such case, the child of a magistrate who continuously failed the civil officer exams five years in a row. Liuyue was banished from their family and sent to the monastery where they are raised to be a River Guard, and was initially reluctant to become one.
The monastery, based in Hengshan or known as Mount Heng in Common tongue, is based in Beian, carrying the insignia of a plum blossom.
Liuyue is dispatched to the western world and specifically Regalia to help fellow Sihai there. Liuyue has largely come to terms with their failures, but still feels irked by feelings of inadequacy as past failures haunt them.

    Liuyue is played by @bahmboozled
