As such, he has been living a life of financial ease from the income he has made from his previous positions, Gallovian tax income, his family’s metallurgy business and his General commissions. William was born to Willard and Guinevere Howlester. William and his siblings, Osric Milahme, Alistair, Warren and Dianne were born in Kinwrey, a barony in the Principality of Gallovia at their homestead, Castle Stirling. The family itself has three branches so William has quite a few relatives, though its rare to have them all in attendance at one singular occasion. William aims to bring his daughters Rosalina and Ylva into Regalian political relevance, the former in the judicial sense and the latter with regards to the Military. His cheekbones are very apparent and his nose and chin protrude out slightly to give him a brutish appearance, decorated with a nice Imperial styled beard. William’s eyes have often been described as sea blue by many, the metaphor being derived from his younger years with his time around the aristocrats of Stirling in Galloway which is complemented well with his combed back hairstyle. He often can be seen bearing a neutral expression, his chin tilted slightly upwards to show a display of dominance to display his elevation as a member of the Regalian peerage. He is proud of his work on the battlefield and within his family business, and his attitude and facial expressions tend to reflect that when in public. William stands tall for his culture at 6 foot 1 inches. His body is quite lean, suggesting more on the toned side than anything. He has only a small amount of body fat, as the Howlester likes to keep himself in shape despite his age. The most notable detail about William’s body that becomes apparent on first observation, is that he no longer sports a left hand. It has since been replaced with a wooden, static prosthetic, purely for show. William can often be spotted wearing his family colours proudly. The Howlester chooses to boast Imperial styled clothing in his family’s colours. With this he wears a fine cream coloured shirt underneath with a belt securing his black trousers. Though not one to go consider himself a fashionista like his younger brother, William does tend to try and appear as well kept as possible in regards to the garments he wears and will often put a reasonable amount of effort in keeping himself tidy. William speaks with a gruff, Heartland Ceardian accent. He speaks as eloquently as he can, despite his sometimes overbearing brutish twinge to his voice. The second born child of Willard and Guinevere Howlester in Stirling Castle within the Barony of Kinwrey in Gallovia. ❇ William's first few years were relatively comfortable, being taught basic reading and writing by Heartland Ceardian tutors. His father was determined to bring the young Howlester up by the Howlester Compendium and keep his culture Heartland Ceardian. ❇ William was a relatively good child, behaving himself and play sparring with his older brother, Osric in his spare time. Young Adolescence - Late Adolescence ❇ William left Gallovia when he was 14 to enrol in the Imperial Admiralty to undergo studies to become a General for the Regalian Army. ❇Now in Regalia, he befriended the likes of Thomas Kade and Ulric Typhonus. ❇ By the time William was 16, he had developed a taste for freedom and began to grow hungry for authority. He spent some time courting lesser nobility, but only for the brief thrill. ❇ While studying took up most of his time, William spent free time away from women for study, alcohol and political talk. Year 274 AC - Year 281 AC ❇ In 275AC, just after turning 24 and graduating as a General, war broke out in Drachenwald. William was deployed to assist against the Rebellion. ❇ By age 25, William married Jehenna Lampero as part of an alliance deal with House Lampero. She gave birth nine months later to William's first son, Rodderick. ❇ It was after this he adopted a Jingo lifestyle while trying to also balance his family life with Jehenna. ❇ At age 27, during a minor campaign abroad, William had a short affair with an Ithanian woman who tended the General's tent, having a baby with her which he later legitimised as Rosalina Howlester. ❇ The Howlester spent most of his time in Regalia when conflicts had settled, getting himself deep in the intrigue and politics there, soon joining the Calemberg Lobby for their alignment with Conservative/Jingoist views. Year 281 AC - Year 291 AC ❇ In 282AC, William met Ania Santorski during a tour of Drixagh and while there was initial hostility, they ended up in an affair. ❇ William maintained his relationship with Jehenna during this period, having more children whilst being unable to break things off with Ania. ❇ By 284AC, William became new patriarch after ousting his father after the Gallovian Mining Crisis. ❇ In 286, William served in the Chrysant War with House Kade as a General for its duration. Year 291 AC - Year 301 AC ❇ After the war ended in 291AC, William returned to Regalia to return to politics. ❇ For the next few years, William used his free time to climb the political ladder. ❇ He served in the Ranger Crisis in 295AC as a General, gaining more honors, respect and prestige. ❇ After the war had concluded, William finally retired for a couple of years back to Gallovia to rest and watch over his children. Spoiler: Year 301AC - Present [Recent IC Events] ❇ William finally returned to the Crown Isle in 301 to maintain his family's standing amongst the rest of the Regalian Nobility, defining Howlester authority amongst the peerage at the time. ❇ During these years, William took part in both the Elven and Hadravian Wars, obtaining commendations in both for his efforts but being imprisoned in the latter for about three weeks, before being rescued by Cedric Kade and Chen Fong. His big success came in the summer of 303AC where his alliances with the Typhonus House and that of his Jingoist Lobby propelled House Howlester into obtaining the State Council seat for Colonial Expansion, thus bringing House Howlester to recognised Revain status and into the position of Lord Commander of the Regalian City Guard, the then Violet Order. ❇ The success was not to last however, at the end of the year, Andrieu Anahera couped the State Council and the Empire, imprisoning William and the other State Councilmen within Grunnpflict Castle for a month as he enacted anarchy on the State. Upon being rescued, William immediately set out for Greygate Prison to fight against the Protectorate Commander and his loyalists with those of his own. He decapitated the Anahera Lord Commander and successfully recaptured the Prison for the Kade loyalists. ❇The following few months saw both a victory at the Diet of Axford, and a loss with the Inquisition on his new organisation and Law Enforcement Charter, the Vigilant Shield. Forced to pay a hefty fine, William acted quickly in trying to pick up the deficit, only ridding himself of the debt at trial against his accuser, Charlotte Moselberg, where her corruption was proven. ❇ He went on to lead his charter for some time, gaining a lot of success with it. He dealt with the troublesome Hammers of Holmganga alongside his lover, Ania. At the end of that year, Freya Lo rose from her crypt to reek havoc on the Crown Isle. William organised the Kronau Rebellion and crushed the Lo regime with his organised militia whilst also gaining his magnum opus victory and greatest military accomplishment. ❇ The next year or so was somewhat of a downward spiral for William. Although he became Landesgericht Inspector of the new City Guard and annulled his marriage to Jehenna to marry Ania, he had to deal with a bitter rivalry from Charles Montagaard. Eventually he lost his position but took up command of the new Regalian Inquisition, the Ivory Wardens. This also was not to last, after House Howlester lost in a rigged trial to the northman, Virathus Krupp on false charges, resulting in the loss of House Howlester's entire holdings, bar Howlester Castle. ❇ William retired from politics after that defeat, opting to return to his roots in the military. The Emperor took William on as General of his Army, though William could reap none of the glory. Whilst absent, his son Rodderick took control of the House and has since brought it back into prosperity as once again, another powerful House in the Crown Isle. William continues to serve Emperor Cedromar as his General, though does occasionally return to the Crown Isle to see his wife and engage with his son and family. ❇ During this time William fell into a deep depression having felt as if he had failed his family by having shown too much restraint during the Montagaard and Krupp era. He pushed his family away and focused on Military Work. ❇ He regained control of the Violet Order after Rodderick, now having raised the Howlester family back to Ducal Status, swung the Government into re granting it to him. ❇ After Rodderick became Supreme Chancellor and Revain of Gallovia, William watched in envy as his son achieved everything he could not. ❇ After Rodderick returned from the Mist Crisis, William took up the mantle as Imperial Court Marshal to lead the Regalian Military and destroy the Kathar threat. ❇ Now, having come to terms with his life, he seeks to mend the wounds he caused with Rodderick and his family. ❇ Mid 308AC his daughter in law Katriane passes away, which dominoes into William's wife Ania wishing to leave the family. Not wishing to put her through turmoil, he bites the proverbial bullet and lets her go; and they agree to an amicable divorce. ❇ Ania's departure leads William on yet another spiral. Returning to drinking, heavy smoking and depression, he takes up gardening to attempt to keep him from slipping completely. He reunites with Sigurna formerly of House Wodenstaff, who helps assist him back on track. ❇ He resigns completely from Guard work, focusing entirely on war: what he does best. He joins the front in Hadar, far away from the emotional troubles at home. ❇ With the war in Hadar over, William is now looking toward the future with an announced courtship with Sigurna of Avoya whilst tying up some loose ends with his family for his behavior over the last few years.
@BillyTheScroofy Review complete! As I expected, I'm most pleased with this application. It was an interesting read, and I could not find anything that stepped out of the bounds of server lore. More importantly, it aligned well with how you portray William in-game. Excellent work. Approved.

In order to be an expert in field command, you would basically be an book nerd for tactics. You'd look more like a chess champion rather than a brutish soldier. Because of the study expectations, your personal battle prowess would all be theoretical and you could be no more than a novice at any actual sword abilities. It is noted in the school of leadership that many Leaders take up a practice of fencing to stay in shape, and you might be able to justify the body build, but definitely not combined with the real battle prowess described in your sword strength. In order to balance this sheet properly, you've got to either choose between the advanced fighting skills or the leadership skills. Make this edit and then tag me to review the rest of it.
Yeah, you're 100% right, I ended up looking at this as Theatre Command instead of Field Command. Let me take a second look. Sorry. This is all new and the page for it threw me.
I've looked this over with new lenses on, better focusing onto the Battle Command section of the leadership school. I only see a couple small nitpicks. Remove the exact body weight and use a body build from this section: https://wiki.massivecraft.com/Character_Body_Build sounds like he is muscular, but read it to be sure. Dogmatic and Vengeful doesn't really weaken you at all, it sort of expected for a person in his position. I would say to move these two things into your personality and replace them with 1 social weakness as a single full well formulated weakness would effectively balance this character.
