He was brought up in a forest settlement out in the highlands of Ceriadian with two brothers and two sisters. He spent his early years hunting and exploring as his love for the village folklore/myth blossomed. Soon he began to record these stories and for the rest of his life would be enamored with tales and stories. William gives all a fair shake and a kind word but for those who scorn the stories and lives of others he saves his contempt and disdain. A pious (though not fanatical) follower to the earth union, William seeks new knowledge with which to share with all. William loves the quiet and peace homes he creates, but he still feels the call of adventure and often leaves his home to seek out new stories and adventures. He holds fast to the Old Gods the unionists are tolerable but if there trying to convert or insult him he will respond with hostility. How does your character feel about the Arcane and Magical in the world? It is a fine marvelous thing to be studied if possible and it’s tales recorded in writing. How does your character feel towards their family? Warm they never understood his literary inclination much but loved his tales on long hunting trips just the same. Growing old and forgetting himself/his stories Life Story (Required) From his earliest days William was enamored with stories, the folklore of the highlands captured his imagination and the tales of the old gods sparked something in him. He began writing on his hunting trips going into the forest for long trips where he would hunt and chronicle every story he could remember or think up. His family was proud of his hunting ability and enjoyed the stories he told, but William’s life wasn’t all peaceful. As the various skirmishes of the highlands required able warriors to fight and William’s bow was more than ready. For many years, William’s life was war and hunting for the village, which after many a moon began to grow tiring. William was aging and all he wanted was a peaceful life surrounded by books and a comfortable settlement. So William set out for Regalia hoping to find a nice settlement to make his home. He dream of opening a town bookshop from which he can sell many a tale to expectant customers. Once William arrived in Regalia he set out to learn more and over a few years completed a study in the Allor races but William discontinued his learning in the capital. He began to ache for the woods and to be free of the capital unionists how would look down on him and the old gods. From his home in the forests William exercises and trains keeping his body fit and muscles lean for hunting. William also exercises to stave off the decay of aging, ever fearful of the delirium and amnesia that can come with aging.
