Hello artists of MassiveCraft, my name is HydraLana. Over the years, we have had many talented artists come, go and stay on our server. Some have been staff members, others not, but many have sought to contribute to the Wiki. However, honestly, we haven't been fair. We have been disorganized and forgetful in our approval or disapproval of artwork. We have allowed artwork onto the Wiki that has been incorrect in their depiction of the subject while probably overlooking a few good pieces of correct artwork. This changes today.
This new thread is dedicated to responding to works of art players want to submit to the Wiki. In order to do so, they will need to follow the process outlined below but also be ready to sign the MassiveCraft Legal Agreement. This document, which can only be seen by Rank 3s and Direction Staff does ask for someone's real-life name, as it is legally binding. Any artist who wants to create for the Wiki should be aware of their need to sign this contract. If they are unwilling to do so, we will be unable to post their art on the Wiki. Now, onto the information and suggests for any artist.

- Any prospective contributors to the Wiki should know that traditional work has a low chance of being accepted due to lighting, paper quality, etcetera. Digital art is preferred but ultimately, it comes down to the quality of the work we are presented with.
- It should be noted that Flora and Fauna is sometimes a bit tricky to get right in terms of the author's vision or the descriptions given. As a result, we heavily suggest attempting to contact who wrote the article to ask for their vision or for what references they themselves used when creating the article they did.
- Some articles already have art but it is occasionally bad and not up to current standards. Feel free to make art for articles that already have it bit whose quality is questionable/low.
- There is something to be said for the subject matter you select, as we recommend drawing content from more recent articles whose descriptions and appearance are unlikely to change significantly in the coming months.
- Is your art a good example of your work and something you feel is fit to be on the Wiki?
- Is your art digital? If it isn't, is the image or scan you've taken of it very good and isn't showing light issues?
- Have you contacted the subject article's writer to get their opinion on your work or asked them to help?
- Is the artwork usable in a Wiki context for others to view it? Is it a depiction of the subject matter suitable for all audiences?
