So, from what I can gather, many of the older races are becoming unplayable, either through being removed entirely from the lore, or by being made unplayable. Races such as Dakkar and Wulong come to mind. And many races are being reworked. So, with the gaps being left by these races being removed, what races do you hope to see in their place? Keep in mind, this is just discussing what ideas you want to see. There is a very small chance that your race suggestion will be accepted, as, as far as I'm aware, they're not accepting new race ideas. This is just for fun, throwing ideas around. That being said, here is my idea, the Moolimann, based off the Mogma from Skyward Sword, and the old Pravden race that was never added:

Moolimann______________________________________________________
Deep underground, underneath Regalia, lies the Moolimann. Discovered by dwarves helping to dig the Regalian sewers, this race is gets their name from the dwarven word for mole, "mooli". They are a strange race, digging out the Regalian underground, forming a stone undercity. This undercity seems to parallel the city of Regalia. This undercity is made entirely out of stone and tree roots. The origin of the Moolimann race seems to be linked to the dwarves, as they speak a bastardized, and heavily accented, dwarven language. However, it is unknown how a group of dwarves became the Moolimann. However, some scholars speculate it is a disease that caused the change.
Physical Characteristics______________________________________________
Moolimann are mole like, standing about the height of a Humorrin dwarf, but with long arms and claws for digging, and are covered in a black, grey, or brown fuzz. They grow beards, much like dwarves, and these beards can be any normal hair color for a dwarf, regardless of their fur color. They have similar builds to dwarves, in that they are very stocky and wide. They are often much lankier than their dwarven counterparts, but with great arm strength. They have tails and long, narrow, pink snouts, much like moles.
Despite their seemingly dwarven heritage, they are unable to interbreed with dwarves, or any other race for that matter. As such, half-Moolimann children are impossible.
