Do you like PvP how it is, or can you not wait for MassiveTraits to come out?!
Personally I think MassiveTraits will be a very big step for PvP, but none the less, awesome! I believe it will be a good chance for PvP to become something greater than just who clicks fastest, and will incorporate people with different skill sets into PvP. These will include trappers, crowd controllers, support roles, archers, and strategy will be paramount to winning a fight. All in All I think MassiveTraits is awesome for Rp, PvP, and anyone looking to maybe get into PvP but has been afraid to thus far because they for example don't click fast, or have a gaming PC. Post what you think on the matter below! What traits are you looking forward to? Can you not wait for MassiveTraits, or are you a bit nervous about the change? I think MassiveTraits will turn out to be awesome and worth the wait!

I've always taken the role of an archer quite seriously. Let's see how well I can do with it with these traits...

I personally feel this will completely change pvp. You'll have to be prepared for almost anything and everything's going to be thrown at you, from fireballs to insanely strong weapons.

Agreed, it will also make people really have to strategize against revenge traits (Ie. when person A hits person B, Person B gets weakness and poison) and not just run in swinging as fast as they can.

I am personally very excited for the official release of Massivetraits. I am not much of a pvper but I have had fun in pvp combat while staff were testing the traits on each other. There really is a lot you can do with the traits and it all gives a lot of variability for rp as well. I can't wait for all the bugs to be worked out so we can really get this show on the road :)

I have a few questions about fireballs and other kinds of magic:
1. Are they item required?
2. Are they bound to a slot/item?
3. Or something completely else?... :3

The only thing I'm hesitant about is if this will cause bad lag or bugs of any kind. On the other hand, this is basically the races plugin on steroids. Since the races plugin didn't have any downsides besides the unbalanced abilities of each race (which won't be a problem now because traits aren't a deciding factor of which race you are; aka: nothing to unbalance), I think this will work out excellently for the Massivecraft community.

This shouldn't cause any lag, and Traits is currently on MassiveCraft, for the purpose of the staff working out all the bugs. I am sure that by the time it is released it will be nice and polished off for our liking. :)

I just really, really hope it doesn't make another boring / endless grind like McMMO is.
Pretty sure about this, don't quote me on it though, you will have to ask an admin or mod who is knowledgeable about the matter. But I THINK that everyone gets the same amount of points to spend, and you get more points by giving yourself negative traits. So someone could max out their archery traits, but be terrible with their unarmed traits.

You do not have to grind any skills to use various traits. You just select which traits you want and you are good to go.
Are you guys still keeping the "negative traits give you bonus points, and positive traits take away points"? I thought it was an interesting system for traits.

I felt this summed up my feelings better than my earlier post

I think traits is a great improvement of the pvp. But we still have the mcmmo and "keep items on death" problem left. Even if the trait plugin is balanced, only a few farmed premiums are still able to pvp, decreasing the amount of players participating in pvp.

If only we could hit each other to the point of KO..where they would black out and be transported to a Yanar healing house/clinic or w/e w/o losing stuff c; c; c; hue hue hue hue hue..

@Billy Rage
Or RPers taking negative points like PvP weakness, that won't affect them at all, let's not forget that...
Yes but I don't think massive traits work like that in RP. Also the people that would abuse the system like that would probably not want to hinder their PVP skills.

@Jake.S.Fruit perhaps my light leather armour would d0 that, but you still cant outrun my wolves.

I wanna become a support character personally, Rally Teh Troops! Don't let them pass!
