Hello! As many of you probably know, I run the Wild Western AU. It's held in my creative plot. I'm making this thread to see what people's interests are with AU themes, progressions, lore, etc.
Themes:_______________________________________
So, basic question: What theme interests you the most? I have the poll for this question, and here is a greater in-depth look at each theme idea:
Wild Western- Currently made, and intended to be expanded upon. This is fairly self explanatory. It currently takes place in Essalonia, during a gold rush. However, in its current state, it is not very successful.
Cyberpunk- Dystonian not-so-distant future in a sci-fi setting.
Steampunk- Dwarven and Qadiri tech combine to form a Victorian era steam-age. Airships, clockwork, etc.
SCP Universe- Read more about it on the SCP Wiki. It's basically campfire stories monsters and such, told through scientific document formats.
Sci-Fi- Science fiction, based around either a Space Station (Which I'm leery about doing, as that is currently planned for the future as an official AU) or an alien planet.
Somewhere Else in Aloria- For example, Dexai, Ithania, Shadow Isles, Dread Empire, or Drowda, to name a few places.
Modern Day- A modern city setting, either in Aloria or some other universe. Think GTA, but hopefully less crime.
1950s- A world set in the 1950s, either real-life, or Aloria.
Universe Away From Aloria- A whole separate universe from Massivecraft. Could be Elder Scrolls, or Fallout, real-life, a new universe, etc.
Other- Simply specify below what your interests are.
Progression Ideas________________________________
Progression move the world forward, and generate roleplay. What kinds of progressions interest you the most? Is it new races, with abilities and such? New afflictions? Should progressions be rooted in the mundane or the mystical? Let me know below!
Progression is where I feel the 1920s AU really lost momentum. It was not maintained, and thus, dies off quickly, with little beyond novelty to keep players coming back. I want an AU that prevents this from happening though regular maintenance.
Lore:_________________________________________
Should the lore stray from regular Massivecraft lore? If so, what would you like to see changed? Maybe a world where there is no mundane population? Or a world where magic was lost? What would you like to see changed about Massivecraft lore, and how do you want to see it changed in an AU?
Anything else I forgot? Let me know below! As always, have a Massive day!
