What A Disaster! Vansherburne Family Manor In Ruins!

Hello,

I, Hiu Blackthorn, was taking a peaceful walk through the noble district of Regalia when I noticed an odd sight. The doors to the VanSherburne family manor were open. Being the curious sort, I peaked inside. What I saw was a disaster indeed. The house was in ruins! The floor filled with gaping holes, the furniture ripped to shreds, and a strange black stone everywhere! I made my way up to the second and third floor and I discovered that it was the same. The only floor that seemed to be unharmed was a mysterious fourth floor I discovered, that smelled of blood and saw knives hanging from the walls. It was quite strange indeed. Someone or something clearly does not like the VanSherburne family, but who would do such a thing to a noble. I will keep investigating this strange situation and till I get to the bottom of it!

Well, that worked well, I mean, oh dear me, what a horrid thing!(wasntme)
 
As Ellenore walks out of the Montgomery mansion, she sees the van Sherburne manor crumbling. As nosy as she is, she walks into the house, yelling if anybody is there. While pulling her maid along, she inspects the manor, from top to botton. 'The bugger..' She looks at the weird things in the Manor itself, the hanging knifes, and the smell of blood is just horrible. As she walks around in the attic, she spots a white mask. Her eyes widen, as she looks around. 'Those bloddy dogs..' She mumbles, thinking it has a connection to the kidnapping of paloin. She grabs the mask, and hides it in her dress. She walks back down. with her maid, walking out of the mansion. As soon as she enters her own house, and slams the door shut, and rushing up to her own bedroom, placing the mask in her private chest, locking it and keeping the key safe.

(Lets see how this turns out now, Family VanSherburne, MUHAHAHAHHA Ć³.o)
 
White mask you say?! I knew it! A string of assassins in white masks have been terrorizing Ulric and the rest of the Typhonus family..
 
Update:
I returned to the manor to re-inspect it and found a small room behind a banner! It has some chans attached to hook. Also, I climbed up to the roof, and saw a hole there, however it did not lead to any new room. I did find a small balcony-like platform that was in perfect condition, but the door leading back into the house from the balcony was locked, so I could not see what room it lead to.

Has it not occurred to one of them that it was simply an upturned cooking pot?

The punishment for harming a noble is severe. And since these people have kidnapped a noble, and burned a family's house down means they are going to be executed. So, the people who would do this are the people who belive in equality, but thats not happening any time soon.
